Howl of Destiny Alpha Lira’s Legend.
Chapter 79 The Golder Family’s Call
Lira’s POV:
When the plane touched down at Fragrance Pack’s airport, dusk was rolling in. The setting sun draped the whole pack in an orange glow, and I couldn’t look away–it was beautiful.
As soon as I stepped out of the airport, a guy dressed like a uniformed butler headed straight for me.
He bent down, super respectful, and asked, “Excuse me, you’re Ms. Lira Krom, right?”
I sniffed him subtly–no biggie. I could tell he was a pure–blood werewolf, and his wolf spirit didn’t want to hurt me. That’s when I relaxed a little.
“Who’re you?” I asked.
He smiled and said, “I’m the butler from the Golder family. I’m Dennis. Our alpha sent me to come get you personally.”
Right after he said that, he popped out his wolf ears.
Those fire–red ears were only for the Golder family staff–total signature. I knew for sure he was the Golder family’s butler.
I glanced at his ears, then nodded. “Dennis.”
He instantly greeted me all warm and led me to a black car parked by the road.
Third–Person Perspective:
The car fired up and got on the nearby highway. That’s when Dennis tucked his wolf ears back in.
He couldn’t help but peek at the girl in the back seat through the rearview mirror–he was hella curious.
When he’d picked up the girl’s photo from the Alpha, he’d been confused. How could the big–time healer they’d gone out of their way to invite be such a young kid?
When he first saw her and smelled she was just an Omega, he almost thought he’d grabbed the wrong
person.
A healer being a young girl? Fine. But an Omega? C’mon, that didn’t make sense.
But when he got close to her, he couldn’t help but be blown away by the strong, one–of–a–kind vibe she had. For some reason, he started to buy that she was the real deal.
Still, he wasn’t sure if she could fix whatever was wrong with the Alpha…
Lira’s POV:
I kept my eyes closed, resting up, and acted like I didn’t catch Dennis staring. The car drove straight to the Golder Manor.

Chapter 79 The Golder Family’s Call
Finished
As soon as we pulled in. I could tell the Golder family was stacked–they ran the Fragrance Pack, after all.
Two rows of buff high–rank wolf guards stood at the manor gate. Every spot inside the manor was grand and fancy, with expensive flowers everywhere I looked.
The car finally stopped in front of a Byzantine–style building.
Dennis hopped out and opened the door for me.
Right then, an old man walked out of the main house and came over.
His hair was gray at the sides, but he looked super sharp–gentle, but I could tell he was in charge.
Dennis immediately bowed. “Alpha.”
The old man nodded, then spoke to me, soft and kind. “Lira, you must be worn out from the trip.
My wolf spirit Victoria smelled him right off the bat–this was Edward Golder, the Alpha of the Fragrance Pack.
We’d met once a few years back at the Hidmoon Pack. Back then, he’d taught me pack management with Enid.
