Chapter 87 A Diamond Fight
Lira’s POV:
I turned around to face the woman who’d taken the necklace.

She was tall, and I could tell right away she was a pure–blood werewolf–her rank was pretty high. She had her arm linked with the guy next to her, acting all cutesy and holding the necklace up for him to see.
The guy was huge and muscular. Even Lily could smell the battlefield blood on him–he was definitely a Gamma.
He gave me a cocky glance, then looked at the woman. “Sure thing, baby. Whatever you want, you got it. Buy whatever your heart desires.”
The woman smiled shyly at him. “I knew you were the sweetest to me.”
Then she acted like I wasn’t even there and told the salesperson, “Wrap this up, please. Thanks.”
The salesperson looked totally awkward. I walked over, snatched the diamond necklace right out of her hand, and stared her down, no niceties. “I saw this necklace first. Ever heard of first come, first served?”
The woman popped out her wolf eyes instantly, her face twisting up in anger. “Oh yeah? Who saw you? If no one saw it, then I saw it first.”
I smirked coldly. “This store has eight cameras, all filming 360 degrees with no blind spots. You really think the part where you grabbed the necklace from me didn’t get caught?
“A brain is useful. Hope you have one.”
The woman’s face went pale after that. She bared her fangs, trying to intimidate me. “So what? Do you know who I am? How dare an Omega take something I want!”
“Oh?” I crossed my arms, raised an eyebrow, and said casually, “Then tell me–what noble family’s princess are you? I want to see for myself what a noble princess’s manners look like.”
“You!” She had nothing to say back. She turned to the guy next to her, looking all wronged, and whined. “Christian, she’s bullying me like this. Why aren’t you helping me?”
The guy,
Christian Damron, finally turned his eyes to me.
When our eyes met, he stared at me with this creepy look, not saying a single word for a long minute.
The woman saw his eyes practically stuck to me. She got even angrier and screamed at me, “You even dare to seduce my mate!”
Her shrill voice got everyone around us looking–some mad, some confused, some giving me dirty looks.
I didn’t care about any of those stares.
But Christian pushed the woman’s hand away hard. He walked up to me with that creepy smile and said, “Hey, beautiful. I’m a Gamma from the Fragrance Pack. Can I get your number? Be your friend?”

I didn’t want to deal with these two at all. I turned around and headed for the counter.
Christian hurried after me. “Anything you like, I’ll buy it for you. Name it.”
The woman saw that, so mad her wolf form started to show through. She bared her sharp fangs and charged at me fast!
“You lowly Omega! How dare you seduce my mate! I’ll teach you a lesson you won’t forget!”
I stood there calmly while she charged at me. Right when her wolf claws were about to touch my skin, I spun around quickly and dodged her attack easily.
