Out of nowhere, a voice came from behind her.

Thalia was caught off guard. She hadn’t realized anyone else was here.

She turned around and spotted a guy sitting in the corner, wearing frameless glasses. He looked good-looking and kind of scholarly, but right now, he didn’t look too well.

“Could you help me call my assistant? He’s downstairs. I’m not feeling well, and my medicine is with him,” the man said. clutching his chest, with a pleading look on his face.

Thalia’s expression tightened in concern. She quickly stepped forward and asked, “What’s your assistant’s name?”

“Kaelin. Thanks,” the man replied.

Thalia didn’t waste a second. She rushed downstairs, asked the club manager in the banquet hall about Kaelin, then finally found him. Anxiously, she explained what had happened.

Kaelin rushed upstairs, Thalia following close behind. She watched as Kaelin gave the man his medicine and helped him take it.
