Chapter 172
Let go of me first, or I won’t be able to eat, Thalia said in a cool voice.
Darion shot her a look. “I can feed you.”
Thalia snorted, her laugh full of mockery.
“Why don’t you just tie me to your belt? That way, I’d never be able to go anywhere,” she said.
Darion’s gaze grew darker. “Thalia, you really think I don’t want to?”
“Get lost!” Thalia snapped.
She wrenched her hand free from his and stormed off.
Darion stared at Thalia’s slim, gorgeous silhouette as she stormed off. Her red dress turned heads everywhere she went, impossible not to notice.
He caught up to her and walked right by her side, letting everyone know she belonged to him.
“Mr. Blackburn.”
Just then, a waiter stepped in front of him, blocking his path. “Mrs. Miya Blackburn asked to see you. She said she needs to talk to you about something important.”
Darion’s expression turned cold. “Where is she?”
“This way, Mr. Blackburn,” the waiter said.
Miya was sitting in the lounge area.
When she saw Darion, a smile spread across her face. “Darion, where’s Lia?”
Darion replied coolly, “She’s off doing her own thing.”
Miya let out a sigh. “Lia must be misunderstanding again. Let’s talk to her after the party and clear things up, so she doesn’t get upset.”
Darion sat down beside her and asked coolly, “Miya, what is it?”
Miya looked at him earnestly. “I’ve thought it over. If I could represent Coleman Group in a partnership with the Flynn Group, it would be my way of repaying Mom and Dad for everything they’ve done for me. Darion, can you help me with this?”
Her voice was gentle, and her reasons were convincing. “I’ve already given up on those sapphire earrings, and I turned down the shares Mom and Dad wanted to give me. I don’t have any other requests. I just want to make this happen. Darion, you’ll help me, won’t you?”
Flynn was still on stage giving his speech, and everyone’s eyes were glued to him.
Darion watched him coolly, his voice growing more serious. “Coleman Group focuses on media, while the Flynn Group is all about real estate. Our fields don’t really overlap, so there’s no way we can work together.”
Miya countered, “Didn’t I just start a new company? It could be the perfect bridge between us. I’m sure the Flynn Group wants to break into the media scene too. After all, it’s the age of the internet, and social media is everywhere

Chapter 172
She kept her eyes on Darion. “This is my only wish. I just need you to introduce me. Darion, it’s not a big deal for you, is it?”
Darion looked at her. “Any other requests? Might as well say them all at once.”
Miya bit her lip, looking a little hesitant. “That’s all I want.”
“Alright, Darion replied.
Wendy had been searching all over for Thalia and finally found her. She grabbed Thalia’s hand and pulled her aside. whispering.
“I just did some digging. Miya started her own media company, and she’s here to find partners. That guy, Benjamin Henderson, has some big-name directors and actors on his roster, and Darion is the one making the introductions for her.”
