Chapter 176
Helen Blackburn frowned, thinking, ‘What is that kid up to now?”
Crystal Brown, standing off to the side, shrank back and said, “Mrs. Blackburn, I don’t want to keep going. I’m a little
cared…”
Helen looked up at her and asked, “Didn’t you say you liked Darion? Giving up so soon?”
Crystal bit her lip. “I’m honestly a bit scared, Mrs. Blackburn. I want to travel abroad for a few days. I’ll let you know my inswer when I get back.”
With that, she turned and walked away.
Helen frowned. ‘She’s hopeless.
Night had fallen, and the city lights were just beginning to flicker on. Inside the restaurant, a graceful violin melody floated hrough the air. Each table was lit by a single lamp, leaving the rest of the space shrouded in shadows.
It was an intimate, atmospheric place.
Thalia and Darion had come here before.
There was a blackout that night. While everyone else hurried out, they stayed and kissed in the dark.
‘Ms. Coleman, would you like anything else?”
Sebastian’s voice came from across the table.
Thalia snapped back to reality and smiled. “This is plenty.”
Sebastian nodded and waved the waiter away.
He looked at her with a gentle, earnest gaze. “I know I’ve said it a million times, but I really do want to thank you for tonight.”
Thalia asked, “Why were you there alone?”
Sebastian let out a helpless sigh. “I just wanted a moment of peace, to catch my breath. I didn’t expect to have an episode right then.”
Thalia nodded, getting it. “Did you ever run into this kind of situation when you were overseas?”
Sebastian shook his head. “No. There’s way too much formality here.”
Thalia asked curiously, “You were doing so well overseas. Why did you choose to come back?”
Sebastian smiled. “My family’s been nagging me about marriage. They’re not keen on me marrying someone from abroad. They want me to find someone local and take over the family business while I’m at it.”
Thalia thought, I can’t believe that’s such a simple reason’
For a moment, Thalia was at a loss for words.

Chapter 176
Noucing her silence, Sebastian chuckled and asked. “Is it kind of hard to believe”
A little, Thalia admitted.
Thalia gave an honest nod.
Sebastian pulled out his phone. “Ms. Coleman, I feel like we just clicked. Mind if we exchange contacts? I think you’ll be my first friend here.”
With the Coleman Group and the Flynn Group about to start working together. Thalia of course didn’t refuse.
She took out her phone and added him.
