Chapter 191
‘Didn’t you already figure it out? I’ve been following you.” Darion said.
Darion’s sharp, captivating eyes, dark as midnight, rested on her with a calm, almost indifferent look.
Thalia didn’t believe a word he said.
Fine, let her think I’m stalking her then, Darion thought.
You…” Thalia muttered, her brows furrowing in frustration.
Annoyance flickered in her eyes, but since Darion had just saved her, she couldn’t really vent her anger at him.
Feeling stifled, she grabbed her phone and called for a ride.
With that, she made it obvious. She had zero intention of returning to Rosewood Manor.
But just then, a hand shot out in front of her and snatched her phone away without warning.
‘Give it back!” Thalia snapped, shooting him a furious glare.
Thalia glared at him, her eyes blazing with anger.

Darion slipped her phone into his pocket, strode over, opened the car door, and without hesitation, bent down and picked Thalia up in his arms.
Thalia fought back, yelling, “Let me go!”
Smack!
Darion gave her a light smack on the butt, his voice dropping to a low growl. “Thalia, I’m angry right now. Don’t test me.”
She insisted on having dinner with Sebastian, and now look at the mess she’s in. She ended up in danger.
She brought this on herself! Darion thought, frustration simmering inside him.
Thalia’s eyes went wide in disbelief. “You… you jerk! Let me go!”
Darion just slung her over his shoulder, making sure she couldn’t wriggle frèe.
He marched into the living room, went straight upstairs, and flung Thalia onto the bed.
Thalia bounced twice on the mattress, then quickly rolled over and made a dash for the door.
But Darion caught her by the ankle, pulled her back, and pinned her down on the bed.
“Where do you think you’re going? Going to chase after him again?” Darion’s voice was low and dangerous.
His hot breath tickled her ear, and his weight pinned her down, heavy as a mountain. There was no way she could break free.
“Let me go! It’s none of your business where I go. I just don’t want to be with you!” Thalia yelled, her eyes reddening with anger as she struggled against him.

Chapter 191
She kept fighting, her eyes growing red with emotion.
Darion’s brows furrowed deeply He got onto the bed and pulled Thalia into his arms, locking her in so tight she had no chance of escaping.
That was it. She was stuck, totally pinned down and unable to move
“Let me go…” Thalia panted, her breath shaky with anger.
She was panting for breath, sweat beading on her nose.
Darion’s Adam’s apple bobbed, his voice dropping to a husky growl. “Keep moving.”
They were pressed so close together that Thalia could feel his reaction. She gritted her teeth and muttered. “You bastard.”
But she really didn’t dare move anymore.
Because if she did, she’d be the one paying the price.
Once Thalia finally settled down in his arms. Darion’s muscles loosened just a bit. He held her close, his nose pressed gently against her check.
“Thalia, I was really scared back there,” Darion murmured, his voice low and trembling.
He spoke in a hushed tone, eyes closed, unable to even bring himself to think about what had happened.
‘What if I hadn’t made it in time? What if she’d actually gotten hurt? Darion thought, fear still lingering in his chest.
