I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 195

Chapter 195

Thalia opened the door, expressionless, her gaze especially guarded as she watched them.

She saw everything that happened at the entrance.

‘She was seething with anger, but felt utterly helpless, Thalia thought.

Being a Coleman meant that even if the cops showed up, it wouldn’t change a thing.

The cop shrugged, “Your dad’s just here to see you. No need to call us for that.”

Thalia bit her lip, hesitated, then said, “He brought a whole crowd. I thought he was here to hurt me.”

“What are you talking about? I’m worried about you, I just want to protect you, Thalia. Don’t be difficult, let your dad in. We haven’t spoken in so long, I’ve been really worried,” Trenton said, acting all concerned.

Thalia turned to the cop. “I don’t want him inside.”

Thalia!” Trenton’s face darkened.

It was a family issue, so the cops couldn’t really do anything about it.

The officers left first.

Thalia tried to close the door, but the bodyguard moved fast, grabbing the door and stopping her from shutting it.

Thalia’s face shifted, her eyes sharp and guarded. “What are you trying to do?”

Trenton’s eyes were icy as he glared at her. “You think a day in the station wipes the slate clean after hurting someone? Thalia, you still haven’t admitted your mistake to your sister!”

Thalia clenched her jaw. ‘I knew it, she thought.

‘It’s always about Miya when they come for me,’ Thalia thought.

She felt utterly exhausted.

Thalia said, “Let’s get a DNA test then.”

“Still spewing nonsense, huh?” Trenton snapped, his fury boiling over. He shot a hand out to the bodyguard. “Hand me the whip!”

He’d come ready for this.

Thalia took two steps back, her face drained of color, her voice barely coming out. “You can’t hit me! I didn’t push Miya Smith!”

“Still got the nerve to talk back? Your sister’s badly hurt, and you show no remorse. You didn’t even visit her in the hospital How did I end up with such a cruel daughter?” Trenton spat, his voice trembling with rage.

He gripped the whip, then lashed out at her in fury.

Thalia tried to run, but the bodyguards he brought grabbed her and pinned her down.

Chapter 195

“Crack”

The whip slashed brutally across her back.

Pain exploded through her, and Thalia let out a scream, tears rolling down her cheeks.

“Are you going to admit your mistake?” Trenton demanded, his voice sharp and merciless.

He stared at her, watching her writhe in pain, tears streaming down her face, his voice cold and unforgiving.

Thalia was trembling from the pain, cold sweat breaking out all over her. She looked up at him, her eyes clearer and colder than ever.

“I didn’t do anything wrong!” Thalia shot back, her voice steady and defiant.

She even flashed a cold grin. “You better kill me, because if you don’t, I’ll make Miya Smith suffer a thousand times worse for what you did to me!”

“Ungrateful wretch!” Trenton snapped, his face darkening with fury.

He couldn’t take it anymore. He had to teach this stubborn daughter a lesson.

Without hesitation, he brought the whip down on Thalia’s back once more.

Her white shirt was soon soaked in blood, her slender body shaking nonstop. Even without the bodyguards holding her down, there was no way out for her now.

‘It hurts.’

‘It really hurts,’ Thalia told herself.

Her back felt like it was on fire, and her ears were buzzing.

Thalia bit down hard on her lip, determined not to let herself scream again.

Because the man in front of her, her own flesh and blood, never cared about her pain.

Just like always, ever since Miya joined the Coleman family, Thalia lost her place as their cherished daughter.

After three lashes of the whip, Trenton’s hand was shaking. He stared at Thalia’s pale face and ordered, “Go to the hospital and apologize to your sister. Tell her you’ll never target her again, and this will all be over.”

The bodyguards finally released her, and she slumped to the floor, her body trembling uncontrollably from the pain.
