Chapter 202
“Darion, are you even listening to me?” Thalia snapped, her voice sharp with frustration.
Infuriated by his indifference, Thalia grabbed his collar, her clear eyes staring straight into his.

Darion’s expression remained calm as he looked at her, his grip steady on her wrist. “I spent all night thinking about it, and I still don’t want a divorce, Thalia. We’re not there yet.”
Thalia gritted her teeth. “Aren’t you afraid I’ll kill Miya Coleman?”
“Even if you killed her, I still wouldn’t divorce you,” Darion said, his gaze especially dark. He gently pushed her to sit on the bed, then leaned in, looking at her still-pale face.
Thalia, we’ve been together for so many years. We’re already a part of each other’s lives. How could we just call it quits like it’s nothing?”
Thalia pulled her hand away, her voice icy. “I don’t love you anymore.”
“That’s fine,” Darion replied, completely unfazed.
He didn’t seem bothered at all. “If you could fall for me once, you can fall for me again,” he said, calm and confident.
Thalia had the urge to slap him, but deep down she knew it would be pointless.
No matter what she did, Darion refused to agree to a divorce. She was powerless to change his mind.
Darion pressed, “Is there anything else you want to eat? I’ll go get it for you.”
Thalia stayed silent.
“Don’t even think about starving yourself. We’re in a hospital. I can just have the doctor put you on a nutrient drip. That won’t get you anywhere,” Darion said coolly.
Her chest constricted. Thalia pushed him away and snapped, “I don’t want to see you.”
Darion paused, watching her closely, like he was checking if she really meant what she said.
Just then, Sandra Blackburn’s voice thundered from outside the hospital room.
“You’ve got some nerve, even daring to stop me? You’re both fired! Get out of my sight!” she declared.
Her voice was powerful and imperious, brooking no argument.
The two bodyguards looked utterly helpless. They were on the verge of tears.
Just then, the door swung open and Darion stepped out, his face showing little emotion. “Grandma, what brings you here?” he said calmly.
Sandra huffed. “If I hadn’t come, I really wouldn’t have known so much has happened these past few days.”
Without another word, she shoved Darion aside and strode straight into the hospital room.
A chill settled in Darion’s eyes, his gaze growing colder.

As soon as Sandra saw Thalia, she scolded sharply. “You sure have some nerve. Just because your father hit you a few times, you expect him to apologize?
“Since when do elders owe apologies to their children? Aren’t you worried about bringing down bad karma on yourself for acting like this?”
“Grandma!” Darion’s voice was especially cold. “This really isn’t something you should interfere with.”
But Sandra retorted, “If I don’t step in, am I supposed to just let you make a mess of things? You went after the Coleman family. Do you want everyone out there laughing at the Blackburn family?
That’s your wife’s family! Your job is to support and protect them, not to go after them or make things worse!”
Earlier that day, Trenton Coleman had come to the Blackburn family and filled Sandra in on everything Darion had done. She was absolutely livid.
