Chapter 210
“Shyla!” Trenton shouted, his voice filled with shock.
He shot up from his seat and rushed over.
Shyla’s hand brushed against Thalia’s fingers before dropping limply to her side.
Thalia’s heart clenched painfully, and she instinctively bent down to hold her. “Mom…”
Her voice trembled uncontrollably.
Trenton shouted, “Call an ambulance!”
Everything turned frantic as Shyla was hurried off to the hospital.

Outside the emergency room, Trenton stood with his back slightly hunched, the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes seemed to have deepened.
He looked at Thalia and sighed heavily. “Your mom ended up like this because of you. Are you satisfied now?”
Thalia pressed her lips together, her expression icy and cold.
Darion spoke up, his tone steady. “You never back down, always pushing her. She’s just standing up for herself. How does that make it her fault?”
Trenton frowned at him. “Darion, now I finally see just how hypocritical you really are.”
He turned to Thalia. “Thalia, if you want a divorce, I won’t stand in your way. But he’s cold-blooded, hypocritical, and selfish. Being with him will only bring you more pain.”
Darion narrowed his eyes dangerously, his voice icy. “This really isn’t the time for you to make wild accusations.”
It was a clear warning.
The Coleman Group was on the brink of collapse.
Its fate was entirely in Darion’s hands. He could bankrupt them with a single decision.
If Darion really lost his temper, he wouldn’t show any mercy.
Trenton was seething inside, but he couldn’t afford to blow up right now.
Thalia stood there, staring at the emergency room doors, her mind in complete chaos.
The wait felt endless, and as the minutes crawled by, she grew more restless and anxious.
Finally, the emergency room doors swung open.
Shyla was wheeled out on a gurney.
Trenton rushed forward. “Doctor, how is she?”
The doctor replied, “She has a heart condition. She must avoid any further strain and needs complete rest

Chapter 210
Trenton swayed on his feet, his figure wavering.
He quickly grabbed the wall to steady himself, just managing not to collapse.
He turned back to Thalia, his brows furrowed. “Do you even realize how many times this has happened? Is it only when we’re all dead that you’ll finally be satisfied?”
Thalia’s face drained of color as she stared at Shyla, still unconscious.
Heart problems are no joke.
One slip, and she might never wake up again.
She didn’t dare let her mind go there.
Thalia followed silently behind the hospital bed, not saying a word, until they reached the ward.
Once the doctors and nurses left, the ward fell quiet.
Trenton sat by the bed, his voice deep and serious. “Thalia, if you still care about your mom, then don’t say things that make her sad or angry. When your mom was pregnant with you, it was really tough on her.
“She suffered a lot. She started getting sick just two months in, and kept throwing up all the way until you were born. She wasted away to almost nothing, but she loved you deeply.”
Talking about cutting ties was like stabbing Shyla right in the heart.
Thalia lowered her eyes, and after a long pause, she finally said, “Before I turned ten, I could feel your love. But after that, it just… disappeared.”
“You’re always making a fuss over nothing!” Trenton snapped.
He looked at her. “Miya always lets you have your way, but you never even think about how hard it is for her. She’s the only orphan in our family. She’s so insecure and sensitive, so even when you treat her unfairly or hurt her feelings, she never complains.”
Thalia clenched her fists. ‘It’s not like that.’
Trenton looked at her, exhaustion etched deep in his face. “Even now, you’re still so stubborn.”
But Thalia insisted, “She’s faking it! She’s just playing the victim to make you feel sorry for her and turn you against me!”
Trenton turned away, not even bothering to look at her anymore.
