Darion’s veins on his forehead pulsed as he watched Thalia, every inch of her body radiating resistance. His voice dropped. low and dangerous. “You’re really trying to push me away?”

Thalia nodded. “That’s right. Go to them. Go on, get out of here.”

But Darion stepped closer, his dark, piercing eyes locked onto hers. “Just like before, you’re so quick to shove me off? Thalia, how dare you?”

With that, he suddenly swept her up into his arms and carried her toward the bedroom.

“Let me go!” Thalia shouted.

But in the next moment, he swept her onto the bed, his tall frame pressing her down, leaving her completely trapped.

Her eyes were red with anger. “Darion, I’m not holding you back anymore. What else do you want from me?”

Before, when she objected to him seeing Miya and her son, he said she was being unreasonable.

Now that she’s letting go on her own, he still isn’t satisfied.

What does he even want from me?’ Thalia thought, frustration boiling inside her.

Darion’s eyes grew even darker, stung by the impatience and coldness in her gaze. His hand went to her clothes, yanking at

them.

Thalia’s eyes went wide with terror. “No, you can’t! I don’t want this, Darion. You can’t force me!”

She struggled so fiercely that, without hesitation, Darion flipped her over, pinning her face down on the bed.

Now, she couldn’t move an inch.

Her shirt was ripped apart, leaving her bare skin exposed to the air.

She flinched, clutching the blanket in a death grip.

But the wild energy behind her didn’t descend. Everything seemed to freeze.

Then, she felt someone gently brush the edge of the wound on her back. The itch from the wound itself made her body

tremble.

Darion’s husky voice broke the silence. “I’ll put some medicine on your back, then I’ll leave.”

Thalia closed her eyes, burying her face in the blanket.

Darion got off the bed and walked to the door.

The bodyguard handed him the medicine. Darion returned to the bedroom, placed the medicine on the nightstand, then headed to the bathroom to wash his hands.

Thalia didn’t move, still lying face down on the bed.

Three long whip marks slashed across her pale, delicate back, ruining its beauty and making them stand out painfully

Chapter 213

Darion opened the ointment and, using a cotton swab, dabbed it gently along the marks on her back

The coolness of the ointment helped suppress the itch that came with healing flesh.

Thalia’s lashes quivered, but she held back any words.

The process felt endless.

By the time Darion finished applying the medicine, nearly twenty minutes had passed.

She still didn’t move. Darion stared at her and said, “Don’t shower. I’ll come by every day to apply ointment to your back and check on your recovery.”

Even after he spoke, she gave no response.

She acted as if he didn’t exist.

His chest tightened with frustration. He turned to leave, but after a few steps, he came back, leaned over, and lifted her up off the bed.

“You…” Thalia was stunned, her mind blank with shock.
