I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 212

Chapter 212

Thalia’s brows furrowed when she saw that.

The driver asked, “Where to?”

Thalia hesitated for a second, then told him the name of her neighborhood.

The driver glanced at Thalia, then at Darion in the passenger seat, and teased, “Trouble in paradise?”

Thalia turned her head away, gazing out the window, keeping quiet.

Darion spoke up instead, “I’m making it up to her.”

The driver chuckled, “Kid, you gotta put your heart into it. Make sure you’re sincere.”

Darion looked at the driver. “How?”

65 vouchers

The driver laughed even harder. “Newlyweds, huh? You need advice? It’s not that hard. Can you cook? Make her favorite meal, get the washboard ready, kneel on it in front of her. Don’t talk back, don’t resist, just admit you’re wrong.”

Darion looked dead serious, hanging onto every word.

Thalia closed her eyes, feeling a mix of exasperation and amusement.

Kneel? Seriously?

Yeah, right. As if.

If Darion ever actually knelt, he’d stop being Darion,’ Thalia scoffed inwardly.

He might look approachable, but Darion was proud to the core.

And he was stubborn as a mule. Once his mind was set, nothing could change it.

So he never even thought he could be wrong.

Thalia just treated the whole thing as a joke.

They soon reached Thalia’s place, and she hopped out without so much as a backward glance.

The driver laughed, “Man, you must’ve really pissed her off. She won’t even look at you. Better work harder, kid.”

“Yeah, got it, Darion said.

Darion pulled out his phone and scanned the QR code.

WhatsApp payment notification: three thousand dollars received!

The driver was completely floored when he saw the payment pop up.

“Whoa, that’s way too much!”

Darion got out of the car and said in a cool tone, “Thanks for sharing your wisdom.”

Then he walked into the complex.

The driver was dumbfounded, just for chatting a bit, he’d pocketed three grand!

After a while, still in disbelief, the driver grabbed his phone and called his wife. “Hey, honey, let’s go out for barbecue”

With his height and those long legs, Darion caught up to Thalia in no time.

They walked into the elevator together.

Thalia took out her phone, not even bothering to look at him.

Darion made a call, his voice calm and authoritative. “Bring the ointment over.”

Then he glanced at Thalia. “Make sure you put the ointment on your back regularly. If you don’t, it’ll leave a scar.”

Thalia’s elegant brows furrowed, a hint of annoyance flashing across her pretty face.

The wound on her back had been itching nonstop, but it was still tolerable. If it left a scar, it’d totally mess up her looks.

She shot him a look, raising her eyes. “Why are you trailing me?”

‘I’ll put the ointment on for you,” Darion said.

Darion’s eyes were intense as he looked at her. “You can’t reach your back by yourself.”

Thalia shot back, “I can get someone else to do it. I don’t need you.”
