Chapter 217
Thalia’s heart warmed. She couldn’t help but think that Sebastian was truly a great friend.
Of course, maybe he just didn’t want to owe her anything, even though it had been no trouble at all for her.
She smiled and shook her head. “It’s already behind us. Thank you.”
A hint of regret flashed in Sebastian’s eyes as he replied, “Don’t be so formal with me.”
“Alright,” Thalia replied.

When they reached her apartment complex, Thalia hopped out of the car, waved goodbye to Sebastian, and watched him drive off. Only then did she turn and head into the complex.
As she stepped out of the elevator, Thalia spotted a tall and striking figure standing right outside her door. He was surrounded by a chilling, intense aura, just a glance sent a cold shiver down her spine.
Thalia froze for a moment, then turned away, suddenly not wanting to go home anymore.
Why does he keep showing up at my door?’ Thalia thought, frustration bubbling up inside her.
This is seriously crossing the line!’ she fumed inwardly.
Darion called out, “Where are you off to, Thalia?”
He walked over, caught her hand just as she was about to press the elevator button, wrapping it in his palm. With his other arm, he pulled her in by the waist.
His breath brushed against her ear, and a strange tingling and shiver spread from there.
Her back stiffened as she said coldly, “I should be asking you, why do you keep coming here?”
You’re my wife. Wherever you go, that’s where I belong,” Darion murmured, then brushed a soft kiss against her cheek.
‘Did you enjoy having dinner with him?” he asked.
His voice was low, but there was an unmistakable threat lurking in his tone.
Thalia’s lashes quivered as she tried to pull away. “Who I have dinner with is none of your business!”
But Darion seemed to know she was about to resist. He pressed her against the wall, his tall frame crowding her, his shadowed, hawk-like eyes narrowing.
Thalia, I’ve told you before. Don’t get too close to him. He’s dangerous. Why won’t you listen to me?” Darion’s voice was dangerously low.
Thalia snapped, her anger flaring. “To me, the real danger is you!”
Every bit of pain, every heartbreak, he was the reason for it all!
Seriously? He has the nerve to call someone else dangerous? Thalia thought, seething.
Darion shot her a glare, his voice dripping with jealousy. “You even let him put his arms around you

He completely ignored her protest, keeping his arm locked around her as he marched her to the door. Without giving her a choice, he made her open it, then strode inside like he owned the place, heading straight for the bathroom.
He turned on the faucet, and before she knew it, her clothes were drenched.
“Darion, have you lost your mind?” Thalia yelled, panic rising in her voice.
She gasped in shock and fought hard to break free from him.
There was a loud rip, her clothes tore apart.
He had shredded her clothes right then and there.
The water rushed over her body as Darion grabbed the shower gel and began rubbing it onto her skin.
As she fought him, red marks began to appear across her body.
Thalia shivered, feeling like he’d really gone insane. ‘He’s totally lost it, she thought.
The scent of the shower gel filled the room as Darion carefully and almost obsessively washed every inch of her.
