I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 242

Chapter 242

After hanging up. Thalia furrowed her brows in concern.

She immediately called Matthew Evans.

“Hello? Matthew Evans sounded confused. “What’s up?”

Thalia explained the situation with the paternity test, then asked. ‘Is it even possible for something like this to happen”

Matthew Evans was taken aback. “Really? I’ll check on it and let you know soon.”

“Okay.” Thalia replied.

Since Matthew Evans had a connection at the testing agency, it would be easier to get answers and find out what was really going on.

Thalia kept herself busy with the script, waiting patiently for Matthew Evans to call back.

Half an hour later, Matthew Evans called back.

“So, I checked,” Matthew Evans said with a sigh. “Turns out the data manager messed up and accidentally erased all the data That person’s already been let go. It’s not just your results. Everyone’s test results have to be redone.”

Thalia nodded slowly. “Alright, I guess I’ll just wait a few more days.”

“Yeah, a few more days won’t hurt,” Matthew Evans replied.

Thalia lowered her gaze, suddenly thinking of Darion. “Do you think he could have tampered with the results?” she asked.

“Huh?” Matthew Evans was stunned for a second. “Who? Darion?”

“Yeah, he knows about it,” Thalia answered.

Matthew Evans thought for a bit before saying, “He really doesn’t have any reason to do that, so I doubt it was him.”

Thalia rubbed her temples. “I really hope I’m just being paranoid.”

After everything Darion had put her through, she was a nervous wreck these days.

“Don’t worry, nothing unexpected will happen again,” Matthew Evans said with a reassuring smile.

“Okay, Thalia replied.

After hanging up, Thalia poured herself a glass of water, trying to snap herself back into work mode.

Meetings, script discussions, recording sessions, her schedule was packed.

But just as Thalia was about to immerse herself in the role, she glanced up, and there was Darion, sitting in a chair, quietly watching her.

The mood she’d built up disappeared in a flash.

Wesley Chase frowned. “What’s going on?”

Thalia pointed at Darion “Make him leave!”

Wesley Chase turned, spotted Darion, and let out a resigned sigh. “Mr. Blackburn, is there something you need

Daron’s face was sharp and handsome, his expression cool and distant Just observing.”

Wesley Chase didn’t mince words. “You’re getting in the way of our work. You should leave

Darion shot him a cold, piercing look.

Wesley Chase felt a chill run down his spine, but he stood his ground. “Mr. Blackburn, could you please keep your personal issues with Thalia out of the workplace? It’s really slowing us down.”

Darion didn’t say another word. He just got up and walked out of the recording studio.

Seeing Darion leave. Thalia finally breathed easy and tried to pull herself together, regathering her emotions for the role.
