Chapter 259
Thalia spoke, her voice hoarse and trembling, “Mr. Flynn, I really need your help right now.”
Sebastian could hear the strain in her voice and knew she must have run into something serious.
He spoke gently. “Don’t panic. Just take your time and tell me what happened.”
Thalia took several deep breaths before finally telling him about Diana’s sudden illness.
Sebastian responded, “Okay, I’ll figure something out.”
Thalia’s voice was laced with hope. “Mr. Flynn, I’m really counting on you.”
She wouldn’t have reached out to Sebastian if she had any other choice.

He’d promised to repay her more than once, and she never thought he’d actually mean it. But right now, she had no one else
to turn to.
Right now, nothing mattered more than Diana.
After the emergency treatment, Diana’s condition finally stabilized. Thalia took a moment to pull herself together before returning to the hospital room.
Diana was still unconscious. Thalia sat by her bedside, holding her hand tightly and pressing her forehead against Diana’s palm.
She prayed quietly, her heart heavy with grief.
Diana’s hand was dry and warm, but it no longer stroked her hair or gave her that gentle, loving smile she was so used to.
Thalia’s eyes burned with unshed tears.
Sebastian moved fast. He got in touch with a top specialist and had a private jet bring him over right away.
He made no effort to hide what he was doing, so word spread through the Flynn family almost instantly.
Everyone assumed Sebastian was bringing the expert in for his bedridden father, but to their utter surprise, it turned out the specialist was here for the grandmother of someone else’s wife!
Verena was the first to object. She sent someone to bring the specialist straight back to their house.
‘Sebastian, Dad’s been paralyzed for years. If you can get such a top expert, why not treat Dad first?” Verena demanded, her tone sharp as she confronted her older brother.
Mrs. Flynn also spoke up, “Sebastian, don’t get too involved with Mrs. Blackburn. Darion is not someone you want to cross. If you go up against him, we’ll be in serious trouble.”
Sebastian’s brows furrowed. “Dad’s been paralyzed for years. What’s a few more days? Let Dr. Wade come with me now. He can treat Dad after he’s finished.
“No way!” Verena shot back, her voice sharp with disbelief. “Sebastian, are you out of your mind? Are you seriously into Thalia now? What’s so special about her, anyway?”

The warmth on Sebastian’s face faded away. “If it weren’t for her last time, I’d be dead. Doesn’t that mean anything to you?”
“That’s a separate issue,” Mrs. Flynn said, wiping her tears. “You can make it up to her in other ways, but you shouldn’t get so involved in her business. You brought the doctor here. Shouldn’t Mr. Blackburn be the one handling this? This is his responsibility, not yours.”
Sebastian’s patience was wearing thin. “Where’s Dr. Wade?”
Mrs. Flynn looked stunned, clutching her chest. “Are you seriously not listening to me?”
