I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 267

Chapter 267

Diana said, “I’m so disappointed in you all Just for an adopted girl, you treat Thalia like this

Thalia had been feeling calm, almost at peace.

But the moment Diana spoke, it was like someone suddenly pressed right on the softest spot in her heart

An ache spread through her, making her eyes burn and turn misty

Diana believed in her.

She always had.

Thalia thought. This feels amazing Diana’s trust gave her the confidence she needed

She lifted her chin and said, “Cut the empty talk If I decide to do something, you can bet Ill see it through

Shyla was frustrated by Diana’s ignorance, but she knew this wasn’t the time to confront her

Diana was seriously ill. Even though the surgery went well, who knew how much longer she’d last

Diana’s fortune was massive

Shyla was her only daughter.

All that wealth would eventually be hers.

Shyla swallowed her frustration and kept quiet.

Thalia left the hospital room, pulled out her phone, and dialed Darion’s number.

After three rings, he picked up. “Hello”

His voice was low, and she could tell he was in a good mood

He was obviously happy that she’d called him first.

“Where are you? Let’s meet, Thalia said, her voice icy.

Darion said, ‘I’ll come find you at the hospital.”

Thalia cut him off, “No need, I’ll come to you instead.”

“You… want to see me?” Darion’s voice lifted with excitement.

Thalia cut in, getting impatient. “Where are you?”

Darion ignored her impatience and replied, “At the office.”

She hung up before he could say another word

Darion was still working late, but when he saw the call end, the corners of his lips curved into a faint smile.

She’s still so distant. Darion thought, but she actually reached out to me.

How long has it been since I felt this excited?

‘Honestly, I kind of missed this feeling.”

He asked Ryan to come over and arrange for Thalia’s favorite food to be delivered, then went right back to his work.

Half an hour later, Thalia arrived at the CEO office at Blackburn Group.

Ryan looked genuinely surprised. “Mrs. Blackburn, I didn’t expect to see you here.”

Thalia responded softly, then pushed open the office door and walked straight in.

Thalia.”

He was sitting at the long table, and as soon as he saw her walk in, his whole expression softened.

Thalia walked up to him and asked, “Did you start a company for Miya?”

Darion’s expression stayed calm as he replied, “Back then, she saved me. I felt I owed her. Her only request was to start a company, so I agreed.”

“I was the one who saved you back then,” Thalia said, her voice steady and her gaze unwavering.

“I don’t care who twisted things behind the scenes and made you believe it was her. What I do know for sure is that it was me who saved you. If you owe anyone, it should be me.”

Darion’s gaze was intense, but his expression remained gentle. He pulled out a chair for her. “Sit down and eat. Take your time. Say whatever’s on your mind.”

Thalia didn’t bother with pleasantries. She sat down and cut right to the chase, “Pull your money out.”

Darion arched an eyebrow, a teasing smile on his lips. “Thalia, are you jealous?”

“Will you accept my request or not?” Thalia stared at him coldly.

Darion let out a soft sigh. “Thalia, it’s really not a big deal.”

‘Fine, Thalia said, nodding. “Then you fund it yourself. Have the Coleman family pull out.”

That’s exactly why she came.

Thalia didn’t care how much Darion spent on Miya, but she’d never allow the Coleman family’s money to end up with Miya.
