I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 294

Chapter 294

Thalia hung up the phone and went to find Dax, asking him to look for Diana.

Dax’s face changed as he listened. “That’s crazy! What kind of monster would do that?”

Thalia took a deep breath. “Quick, nothing can happen to Diana!”

“Don’t worry, Ms. Coleman. Some of our guys are already in Oakwood. I’ll contact them right now,” Dax said, trying to reassure her as he pulled out his phone and started dialing.

Thalia stood alone in the empty hospital room, feeling as if she’d plunged into a bottomless pit, the cold seeping right into her bones.

Never in her wildest dreams did Thalia imagine Shyla would actually do something like this.

All for an adopted daughter, for that girl’s parents, and even for her own grandparents. Shyla was really willing to go this far!

‘Does she really not have any feelings at all for Diana?

‘Even if she grew apart from Diana later, did all those childhood memories mean nothing to her?

‘Did all of that mean nothing to her?’ Thalia thought, her chest tight with disbelief and pain.

She just couldn’t believe it, but it had really happened.

She walked into the bathroom and splashed cold water on her face, hoping the icy water would snap her out of this nightmare.

Right then, Thalia received a message from Shyla, instructing her to bring the asset transfer paperwork she’d prepared to Coleman Villa.

Thalia walked out of the hospital and made her way straight to Coleman Villa.

Just as Dax hung up, Darion Blackburn’s name flashed on his screen.

He scowled, sounding impatient. “Yeah, what is it?”

“Did you forget what you promised me?” Darion’s voice was cold as ice, his words cutting right through the air.

Even over the phone, Dax felt the chill seep straight into his bones.

He paused, then said, “I was just about to tell you. Something happened with Ms. Coleman. Diana’s missing, Shyla took her. Mr. Blackburn, if you have any way to help, please join us in looking for her.”

Darion didn’t say a word. He just hung up.

Dax curled his lip, thinking, ‘Seriously, what’s with him?”

Darion instructed Ryan to check the hospital’s security cameras, then jumped in his car and sped off toward Coleman Villa.

As he turned onto a different street, he caught sight of Thalia’s car up ahead.

She was driving like she had nothing to lose and his expression grew grim

But right now he didn’t dare call her, worned it might distract her and lead to an accident

After checking the road ahead, he called someone else.

Before long. Thalia noticed the cars ahead clearing out of her way, and the traffic around her thinning fast.

Her jaw clenched as she pressed harder on the accelerator, determined to push forward.

A trip that should’ve taken an hour, she finished in just thirty minutes.

She pulled up in front of Coleman Villa and strode inside without hesitation.

Shyla was sitting in the living room. When she saw Thalia storming in, she instinctively jumped to her feet. Thalia, what do you think you’re doing?”

Thalia locked eyes with her, her gaze icy and unyielding. “I should be the one asking you that!”

Shyla frowned. “I made it clear on the phone. Did you bring the paperwork?”

“You’re seriously delusional!” Thalia shot her a frosty glare. Tell me where Diana is right now, or I won’t be so nice!”

Thalia radiated a fierce energy, her eyes locked on Shyla like she was ready to rip her to shreds.

But Shyla wasn’t fazed at all. She sat right back down and said, “Thalia, I’m honestly doing this for your own good. You and Darion still aren’t divorced.

“What if he just runs off with all your assets? I know how much you’re into him, I’ve seen it with my own eyes. Once you two split up, I’ll give everything back to you.”
