“Darion, Thalia just kissed some other guy. Aren’t you gonna do something?” Jason blurted out before he could stop himself.
As soon as he realized what he’d said, he smacked himself on the mouth.
Darion shot him a cold look. “Why don’t you handle it yourself?”
Jason scratched the back of his head, feeling awkward. “Uh, so… nothing much today, wanna grab a drink?”
Thalia gently pushed the male model’s face aside, leaned back in her seat, and said, “I want this one, that one, and that one.”
She pointed at a few bottles. “Can you make me a drink?”
The male model replied, “Sure thing.”
Wendy watched from the side and couldn’t help saying, “Thalia, why not just kiss him? See what kissing another guy feels like. Maybe you won’t always be stuck with that loser.”
Thalia shot her a lazy look. “I don’t want to share a guy with other women.”
Wendy paused, then nodded. “Yeah, you’re right. That’s kinda nasty.”
Then Wendy glanced at the guys around and said, “Go dance. I wanna watch you.”
The guys moved up in front of the booth and started grooving to the music.
The guy next to Thalia quickly mixed her a drink and handed it over. “Madam, this one’s pretty strong, so maybe just go easy on it, alright?”
“If it’s that strong, why didn’t you just tell me to skip it?” Thalia raised an eyebrow, giving him a half-smile.
The guy replied, “You either come here to have fun or because something’s weighing on you. I think it’s the second one, so I figured you’d want a drink anyway. I can’t really stop you, so I just hope you don’t overdo it.”
Thalia took a sip and said, “You’re pretty thoughtful.”
The guy replied, “That’s just part of my job.”
Then he asked, “Madam, want a shoulder massage? My technique’s pretty good.”
Thalia grinned, “Yeah, go ahead.”
She gave him the go-ahead.
The guy got up, moved behind her, and started working her shoulders, helping her relax.

Meanwhile, Wendy was completely hooked on the guys dancing. Her eyes kept darting from one set of abs to another set of pecs, totally glued to the show like she was about to start drooling.
The bar was getting crowded, and the dance floor was packed with young people having a blast.
Thalia suddenly felt hyped. She grabbed Wendy and said, “Come on, let’s go dance!”
Wendy nodded right away. “Yeah, let’s do it! Everyone, come with us!”
She made sure to call the male models over too.
With so many people suddenly crowding onto the dance floor, it got packed in no time.
The male models closed ranks around Thalia and Wendy, making sure nobody got any funny ideas or tried to take advantage.
Thalia ran her fingers through her hair, popped open a couple buttons on her shirt, and started moving to the
beat.
She could only let herself chill for a bit. The future was a big question mark, and it seemed like none of her plans would ever work out.
Whenever Thalia thought about what was coming, her thoughts were all over the place. She felt uncertain and uneasy, totally lost about what to do next.
Suddenly, a guy slipped his arm around her waist and started dancing up close. Thalia shot him a look, her brows knitting together, but before she could say anything, the music cut out.
Right after, the lights went out all at once.
“What’s happening?” Someone in the room shouted.
“Why are the lights out?
“Manager? Manager? Hurry up and fix this!” The place became a total chaos.
