I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 486

Chapter 486

When Trenton saw Thalia, his face lit up with excitement. He strode straight over, reaching out to grab her

hand.

Dax stepped in front of Thalia, blocking him with his arm. “Hey, what the hell do you think you’re doing? If you’ve got something to say, just say it. But keep your hands to yourself, that’s way out of line.”

“What are you even talking about? I’m her father! I haven’t seen her in ages. Can’t I just talk to her? Who raised you, anyway? No manners at all!” Trenton’s face turned pale, then red with anger.

Dax let out a cold laugh, his eyes fixed on Trenton. “Morals? I don’t even pretend to have any. Want a taste?”

Trenton took a couple of steps back, intimidated by Dax’s cold, dangerous stare. He swallowed hard, then turned to Thalia, his voice suddenly gentle. “Thalia, I just want to apologize to you. Can you give me a chance to say it?”

Thalia caught the pleading look in his eyes. He was nothing like the arrogant father who used to boss her around, yelling and hitting whenever he felt like it.

Funny how people change.

Thalia’s gaze was crystal clear and distant as she looked at him. “Go ahead.”

Trenton was taken aback, clearly not expecting her to be so calm. He hesitated, glancing at Dax, hoping he’d just leave.

But Dax just snorted. “What, you want to apologize behind everyone’s back? That’s not a real apology. If you’re serious, do it in front of everyone. Otherwise, who’d believe you’re actually sorry?”

Trenton was about to explode with rage.

‘Where the hell did this brute come from?’ he thought.

‘He’s such an eyesore!’

But right now, he had no choice but to swallow his pride. He couldn’t take on Dax, and Thalia wasn’t about to take his side.

Trenton didn’t wait long before turning to Thalia. “We messed up. Miya totally played us, and we kept siding with her, punishing you over and over.

“You went through hell because of us, and I get it now. I really screwed up. I want to make it up to you, Thalia. Please, just give me a chance to fix things. I swear, I’ll be the father you deserve.”

Thalia stared at him with cold indifference, feeling absolutely nothing. The man before her was a total stranger. He was nothing like the father she used to know.

‘It’s so surreal,’ she thought.

‘So this is what happens when someone falls from grace. They toss aside all their pride and dignity, begging for forgiveness from the very people they once looked down on.”

Chapter 486

“I have nothing to do with you,” Thalia said coldly.

“I’ll hear your apology, but that doesn’t mean I’ll ever forgive you. I will never forgive any of you.”

Her voice grew icy. “Now that the Coleman family is bankrupt, you suddenly remember me.

“You want to use those twenty-something years of raising me to guilt me into helping you. Are you hoping that if I come back, admit we’re family, and make peace, the Colemans might somehow make a comeback?”

Thalia mercilessly exposed Trenton’s true motives, leaving him utterly ashamed.
