I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 531

Chapter 531

“What about Harvey?” Thalia asked.

Thalia pressed. “So, what are you going to do with him?”

Darion replied. There are plenty of places he could go.”

“Alright, Thalia said.

She nodded and headed out of the villa.

Darion walked beside her, keeping up with her pace in slow, easy steps.

His gaze kept drifting to her, but he couldn’t tell what was going through her mind.

After a moment of silence, Darion suddenly said, “You know your body’s drawn to me.”

“What?” Thalia instinctively looked at him.

soon as she processed his words, her expression froze, and she spun around, hurrying away.

Darion let out a low, husky laugh, his gaze lingering on her as she walked away, his throat tightening with desire.

Right now, the only thing he could do was use whatever means he had to make her body respond to him, because that was all he had left.

His phone buzzed suddenly. He glanced at the screen. It was Ryan calling.

“Hello?” Darion answered.

Ryan sounded tense. “Mr. Blackburn, Quinn went missing.”

Darion’s smile faded. “What do you mean, he’s missing?”

Ryan replied, “The hotel staff went up to deliver lunch, but the room was empty. The hotel’s surveillance system was hacked. and I sent my team to search, but we couldn’t find him.”

Darion’s eyes darkened. Quinn had vanished right under his nose.

He must have had help. There’s no way he could’ve pulled this off alone.

“Keep it discreet, but make sure you find him,” Darion said, his voice growing more serious.

Jason’s wedding is just two weeks away. We can’t afford any trouble before then.

If anything goes wrong, their whole plan will fall apart.

“And let Ethan know. Have him tie up Quinn’s crew so they’re too busy to mess with us, Darion instructed in a low, firm

tone

“Yes, sir. Ryan replied

After hanging up. Darion came up to Thalia and said, “Quinn’s missing”

Tell Wendy not to go out for now. I’ve got people searching for Quinn, but it’ll take some time. The wedding’s still two weeks away, so she should stay home until then,” Darion said, his voice low and serious.

“Okay.” Thalia replied.

She got into the car. “I’ll go straight to her place and let her know.”

“Alright. Thalia said.

Wendy was all smiles when she saw Thalia, but as soon as she heard it, her smile vanished instantly.

“Oh my god, what should I do? I feel like I’ve got a devil breathing down my neck!” Wendy hugged herself, her face scrunched up in misery. “Thalia, do you really think I should go through with this wedding?”

Thalia’s face grew tense. “I don’t know for sure, but honestly, this is all we can do right now.”

Wendy collapsed onto the couch, looking lost and guilty. “Why did I even go to that bar that night? If I hadn’t, I never would’ve met him, and none of this mess would’ve happened…”

She raked her fingers through her hair in frustration.

Thalia placed her hand over Wendy’s, steadying her. “Don’t be so hard on yourself. What’s happened is already in the past. All we can do now is try to change things, not let these feelings drain you.

“Just stay home for now. Maybe once the wedding’s over, even if he shows up, seeing you married might make him leave you alone.”

All of this was still a mystery.

They were basically betting on the unknown.

Wendy hugged Thalia, her heart aching for comfort.

Thalia stayed with her, having no intention of leaving that night. But as evening fell, Darion came over.
