The groomsmen burst in, tossing money everywhere. Adults and kids scrambled to snatch them up, so nobody was left to block jason.

With a bouquet in hand, he rushed straight to Wendy’s room.

Wendy, open the door! I’m here for you!” Jason called out from outside, his voice overflowing with excitement

He stood outside the door, shouting loudly, his excitement obvious in every word.

Wendy heard Jason’s excited voice and her eyelid twitched. ‘What’s with him? This is just a fake wedding, so why is he acting like he can’t wait to marry me?’ Wendy grumbled to herself.

At the door, the bridesmaids were making things difficult for Jason, putting him through a series of playful challenges.

They had him playing a words game and solving tricky riddles.

Thalia stood off to the side, watching everything unfold, a faint smile lingering on her lips.

Wendy leaned in closer and said, “Honestly, Thalia, your wedding back then was so much more festive.”

Thalia lowered her eyes and murmured, “That’s all in the past now.”

Wendy sighed. “If only Darion had never changed.”

Thalia stayed silent.

People change.

She used to love him with all her heart, but now, it was just about the arrangement. Whatever feelings she had for him had faded away long ago.

All she wanted was for everything to be over, for them to get divorced, and for her to live her own life at last.

Once the challenges were over, Jason finally made it inside. The moment he saw Wendy sitting on the bed, he was totally blown away, just stood there, speechless.

Someone nearby couldn’t help but tease, “The bride’s so stunning, the groom’s totally spaced out! Someone post this online. The groom’s completely dazed!”

Laughter erupted all around as Jason snapped back to reality. He cleared his throat, walked over to Wendy, dropped to one knee, and handed her the bouquet. “Baby, will you come home with me?”

“Whoa, isn’t it a bit soon to be calling her your wife? You haven’t even found her shoes yet! You can’t take her away until you do, one of the bridesmaids joked.

Jason froze for a second, then quickly got up. “Come on, help me out! Let’s find those shoes. I need to bring my wife home!

The groomsmen tore through the room, searching everywhere. Chaos broke out as everyone joined the hunt

Spotting Thalia, Jason hurried over. “Thalia, where are the wedding shoes? If you tell me, I’ll spill one of Darion’s hule

secrets.

Thalia arched her brow, smiling lightly “Honestly, I don’t know.”

Jason just stared at her, lost for words.

‘Seriously? Even Darion’s secrets don’t work anymore?’ Jason thought, feeling a bit panicked.

‘Now what?’ he wondered.

The photographer, snapping away, couldn’t help but call out, “Hey, groom, look over here for a sec!”

But Jason just kept his head down, searching for the wedding shoes, and waved him off. “No time for you, gotta find the shoes!”

The photographer was speechless.

Everyone else was practically dying trying not to laugh.

“Just look at me for a second! Just one look!” the photographer called out, unable to hold back.

Jason shot him a quick glance, then instantly looked away. “I looked, alright? Did you get your shot? Don’t slow me down. I gotta find the wedding shoes!”
