Chapter 559
Every day. Thalia would ask Darion if he’d heard anything about Wendy, but he always gave her the same answer.
She couldn’t help feeling anxious and uneasy, and honestly, she had no idea what to do.
All she could do was throw herself into training, determined to become stronger.
After finishing her training one day, Thalia stepped out of the elevator and saw some people coming in from the entrance.
Bonnie was supporting Diana, and on the other side, was that Sebastian?
He actually showed up here?’ Thalia wondered, surprised.
Thalia’s brows knitted together as she walked over and asked directly. “Why are you here?”
Bonnie spoke up. “Here’s what happened, Thalia. I was out walking with Diana when we ran into Mr. Flynn. Diana started chatting with him, and he offered to drive us home.”
Sebastian pushed up his glasses and said, “Thalia, can we talk?”
Diana smiled and said cheerfully, “Go ahead, have a good talk. I’m tired, so I’m going to rest. Take your time.”
Thalia just stood there, speechless.
Bonnie helped Diana toward the room, and as they passed Thalia, Bonnie glanced at her, looking a bit lost and unsure.
Thalia smiled at her, as if to say ‘It’s okay.’
Then she turned to Sebastian and said, “Let’s talk outside.”
Once they stepped outside Rosewood Manor, the two walked down the street. Sebastian glanced at her and said, Thalia, you’ve really changed.”
Thalia’s face was cold, her tone wary. “Isn’t this what you wanted to talk about?”
Sebastian sighed quietly. “I think there’s some kind of misunderstanding between us. I didn’t quite understand what you meant during our last call, so I wanted to come and make sure I understood you right.”
Thalia’s brows furrowed, her gaze icy as she stared at him. “Are you still playing dumb with me?”
Sebastian shrugged, looking genuinely helpless. “I swear, I really have no idea what you’re talking about.”
‘Alright, since you’re so determined to get to the bottom of this, I’ll just tell you straight,” Thalia said, no more riddles, and laid out everything that had happened.
After a moment, Sebastian’s face darkened with anger. “So it really was like this.”
Thalia’s brows drew together, and she instinctively stepped back, wary.
He caught her reaction and said, “Thalia, you have to trust me. I’d never hurt you. Someone used my name to pull this stunt. trying to mess things up between us.”
But Thalia wasn’t convinced. She looked him straight in the eye and said, “If you say you’re innocent, then prove it Show me some real evidence.”

Sebastian replied. “You don’t have to apologize. Honestly, I did frighten you. But I promise, I’ll get to the bottom of this and make things clear to you.”
With that. Sebastian turned and left without another word.
The whole thing happened on the day Thalia went to see him. ‘What really went down that day?’ she wondered.
