I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 575

Chapter 575

Thalia nodded. “Let’s eat first. I’ll call and ask about it later.”

Diana didn’t say anything else..

After dinner.

Diana went for a walk with the maid’s help to aid her digestion, while Thalia called Bonnie.

‘Beep… beep… beep…” The phone kept ringing, but Bonnie didn’t pick up.

After three rings, the call still wasn’t answered.

Thalia furrowed her brows, confusion flashing across her beautiful face.

Why isn’t she picking up?’ Thalia wondered.

Just before the call was about to hang up, someone finally picked up.

‘Hello? Who is this?” An impatient male voice came through the phone.

An impatient male voice answered, sounding annoyed.

‘Sob… sob…” Thalia could hear Bonnie crying in the background.

The sound of Bonnie’s muffled sobs mixed with chaotic, unclear noise, making it hard to tell what was happening.

Thalia shot to her feet, her face turning cold. “Who are you? Where’s Bonnie?”

Tell me first, who are you to her?” The guy’s voice was flippant and arrogant.

Thalia didn’t bother answering. She just hung up.

Right after, she called Dax and told him to find out where Bonnie was.

She sat back down and quietly waited.

Time ticked by. Half an hour later, her phone finally rang. She glanced down, expecting it to be Dax, but to her surprise. Bonnie’s name flashed on the screen.

‘Hello?” Thalia answered, her expression turning cautious.

Thalia, it’s me… Bonnie’s voice was trembling, still choked with sobs.

Thalia’s brows knitted in concern. “Bonnie, what happened just now? Where are you? Are you okay?”

Bonnie was still sniffling, her voice shaky. I’m okay now… Sebastian saved me. If he hadn’t happened to be there, I don’t even want to think about it..”

As she spoke, she started crying again, scared out of her wits.

There were some shuffling noises, then Sebastian spoke softly. “Thalia, it’s me.”

Thalia pressed her lips together, staying silent.

Sebastian didn’t seem to notice Thalia’s silence and continued, “I ran into her near Nightfall Bar. She was being chased, so I let her get in my car. Should I bring her over to you now?”

Thalia lowered her gaze and replied softly. “Okay.”

There was a gentle sigh on the other end, then the call ended.

Another twenty minutes went by before a car horn honked at the front gate.

Thalia stepped outside and saw Bonnie at the entrance, bowing again and again to Sebastian, her gratitude obvious and a bit frantic.

“Mr. Flynn, thank you so much. I really can’t thank you enough…” Bonnie said, her voice trembling with emotion.

Sebastian rested a hand on her elbow, his face gentle. “Don’t mention it. I would’ve helped anyone in your shoes. You look wiped out, go inside and get some rest.”

Bonnie nodded, then turned and spotted Thalia. “Thalia…” she said, her voice trembling with relief.

Thalia stepped forward and hugged her. “Go take a hot shower and grab something to eat. I’ll come see you in a bit.”

Bonnie nodded. “Okay.”

She bowed to Sebastian again in thanks, then headed inside the villa.

Thalia glanced at Sebastian, her expression complicated. “Why were you at Nightfall Bar?”

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. “A buddy of mine runs a noodle shop nearby. I just went there for some noodles.”

He paused, then handed her a business card. “This is the address. If you don’t trust me, have someone check it out. There’s no reason for me to lie to you.”

Thalia glanced down at the card in his hand. It was for Woo’s Noodles, with the address and phone number listed.

She was silent for a moment before finally saying, “Thanks for bringing her back.”

Seeing she didn’t take the card, Sebastian slowly put it away. “If you ever get the chance, you should give it a try. Their noodles are really good.”
