Thalia headed to Diana’s room and sat down beside her. “Diana, Bonnie’s gone. Do you want me to find another girl her age to keep you company?”
Diana paused for a few seconds, then shot Thalia a reproachful look. “What about you? What have you been up to? Why haven’t you been keeping me company?”
Thalia was at a loss for words.
Feeling a bit awkward, she forced a smile. “Of course I can keep you company. I just didn’t want you to get tired of seeing me all the time.”
Diana reached out and tapped her lightly. “You’re always making things up. How could I ever get tired of seeing you?”
Thalia smiled. “In that case, I’ll be the one to keep you company from now on. I’ll chat with you every day and go for walks with you.”
That’s more like it.” Diana picked up her teacup, took a sip, and gave Thalia a searching look. Then she asked, “Are you still planning to keep your studio going?”
Thalia lowered her gaze slightly. “Not for now.”
So what are you up to these days?” Diana asked, looking at her in confusion. “Are you just sitting at home all day, waiting for Darion to beg you to take him back?”
Thalia gave a little laugh. “Isn’t that kind of a good deal?”
No, Diana said, shaking her head.
You need your own life, your own career. It’s fine to let him treat you well, but you can’t depend on him for everything. If you do, you’ll lose yourself. Letting a guy run your life. That’s just pathetic.”
Thalia’s eyes brightened. “Diana, you’re absolutely right. That’s exactly how I feel. It’s just that I can’t really jump in yet. There are still some things I need to sort out first.”
Diana shook her head. “You’re being so secretive. I really have no clue what you’re up to.”
She simply closed her eyes, started listening to an audiobook, and stopped fussing over Thalia’s affairs.
Thalia stayed with Diana for two hours. When evening rolled around and Darion came home, he pulled her into the room by the hand.
Thalia tensed up, thinking he was about to make a move. She gave him a cold stare. “Darion, can you stop obsessing over
that?
Darion was about to say something, but when he heard her, he paused for a moment. Then a playful smile appeared on his handsome face. “Thalia, what do you think I’m up to? What do you think is on my mind?”
He leaned in, his dark, captivating eyes fixed on her “Are you seriously thinking I just want to jump you right now?”
Thalia frowned, picking up on the fact that he actually had something to say. Still, she couldn’t let herself lose her cool in this situation.

Chapter 591
She lifted her chin and said, “Isn’t that exactly what you’ve done before? You’ve got a track record, you know Can you blame me for being suspicious?”
Darton couldn’t help but laugh, but he didn’t argue with her. Honestly, she wasn’t wrong. Whenever he was with her he just couldn’t get enough.
He calmed himself down and said, “How about we get out for a bit and relax?”
Thalia gave him a puzzled look. “Get out and relax?”
“Yeah, let’s go on a trip. I came up with a few travel plans. Take a look and tell me which one you like,” Darion said, pulling some papers out of his briefcase and handing them to her.
Thalia was completely stunned.
‘He got all serious just to bring this up?
‘Is he really thinking about a vacation at a time like this?’ Thalia couldn’t help but wonder.
