Chapter 635
‘Mm Darion turned to face Ryan, his expression now completely devoid of any weakness or pity.
He asked in a calm voice, “Any word from Quinn?”
Ryan replied, “Mr. Clark still hasn’t responded.”
Darion let out a cold laugh.
Looks like he’s asking for trouble.”
Ryan asked, “Should we reveal where Mr. Clark is?”
Darion replied coolly, “Give him one last warning. If he doesn’t take this chance, then make it public.”
Yes.
Ryan nodded and turned to leave the hospital room.

Far across the sea.
A helicopter landed on the helipad of a private island.
The cabin door swung open, and the wind whipped at the man’s clothes, sending his short hair into a wild mess.
He was tall and long-legged, sunglasses covering his eyes, his features sharp and handsome, but he radiated a cold, dangerous anger.
He strode off the helipad, jumped into a waiting car, and shot off toward the castle nestled nearby.
ust then, his phone buzzed with a new email. His eyes flicked to the sender, and when he saw it was from Darion, he lammed on the brakes.
He rolled down the window, letting the sea breeze rush in, blowing away some of the frustration clouding his mind.
He unlocked his phone and opened the emails.
There were three in total. The first two were asking about Vera and a mysterious mercenary, and the last one was a warning if he didn’t respond, Darion would make his whereabouts public.
‘Damn it’
Quinn cursed under his breath, yanked off his sunglasses, and tossed them aside. Then he started typing out a reply
Once he was done, he powered off his phone, fired up the engine, and sped off toward the castle
The closer he got to the castle, the more his fury surged, threatening to spill over.
When his luxury sports car rolled to a stop at the castle entrance, he slammed the door shut and strode inside without hesitation
Wendy was studying flower arranging.

Back home, her mom had signed her up for flower arranging classes, but Wendy had never been into it. She just didn’t have the patience for it.
But now, stuck here with nothing else to do, she found herself spending her days fussing over flowers.
She’d tossed her message in a bottle into the sea days ago, but still, no word, no one had replied.
‘Did no one find it?’ Wendy wondered.
She was absentmindedly trimming the flowers, not really paying attention, and ended up nicking her finger.
“Ouch!” Wendy exclaimed.
Wendy instinctively dropped the scissors and grabbed her hand. The skin on her left middle finger was sliced open, and blood immediately started to ooze out.
She turned to wash the wound, then figured she’d ask a servant where the first aid kit was kept.
Just dab some iodine on it, slap on a bandage, and she’d be good to go.
But today, not a single servant was anywhere to be seen.
Where did everyone go?’ Wendy thought, puzzled.
Wendy looked confused as she called out, “Hey, is anyone around?”
No one answered.
