I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 65

Chapter 65

At that moment, Shyla opened the tablet and watched the video. None of the kids saw Thalia kick anyone, Keith lost his footing and fell.

Keith sat in Darion’s arms, his face chiseled and striking, but shadowed with fear. He instinctively clung to Darion’s shirt, his wide eyes darting around before he finally whispered, “I don’t know.”

Darion’s strong brows drew together. “You really don’t remember?”

Keith’s eyes filled with tears. “I… I don’t know.”

Miya stepped forward. “Darion, he’s a little kid. Of course, he’s scared after falling from that height. Don’t push him so hard.”

As she spoke, she picked Keith up from Darion’s arms, glanced at the tablet, and turned to Thalia. “Since someone proved it wasn’t you, then it definitely wasn’t. I was too worried last night and wrongly blamed you. I owe you an apology.”

She bowed to Thalia. “Lia, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have blamed you.”

“Darry…” Keith called softly. He tried to wriggle out of Miya’s arms, reaching out for Darion.

But Miya said, “Be good, Keith. Let’s not bother Darry anymore. We’ll be seeing less of him from now on, okay?”

Keith’s tears streamed down his face as he whimpered, “No, Darry, I want to be with Darry.”

Miya gave him a playful tap. “You’re such a little troublemaker, aren’t you?

“Look what happened because of you-Darry and Thalia are about to get divorced. We can’t keep disturbing them. From now on, it’s just Mommy and you, okay?”

Keith’s wails grew louder, wrenching at Shyla’s heart. She moved closer, her voice sharp as she addressed Miya. “Don’t you even pretend to hit him. He’s too weak for this.”

But when she turned to Keith, her tone melted. “Come here, my sweet. Come to Grandma.”

She gently took Keith into her arms, soothing him softly. But Keith kept staring at Darion, crying out again and again, ‘Darry, I want Darry.”

Darion’s brows drew together, his expression darkening. Watching Keith cry like this, he felt a pang of discomfort. But for now, he didn’t look at Keith; instead, he turned to Trenton.

“Dad, don’t you have anything to say?” Darion asked.

Trenton was finally starting to get it. Darion went out of his way to gather everyone here just to clear Thalia’s name.

Everyone had already apologized to Thalia, and now all eyes were on Trenton.

He had misunderstood Thalia last night, so his expression eased up a bit as he looked at her. “Thalia, I shouldn’t have blamed you last night.

“But seriously, if you didn’t do it, why did you say you did? And you made such a big fuss. Didn’t you realize how much you embarrassed both our families?”

His attitude softened, and he admitted he was wrong, but in the end, he put all the blame on her Bottom line Thalia always ended up taking the blame.
