Chapter 668
Mrs Blair immediately said, “You’re already twenty-five or twenty-six and still haven’t found a partner How could I not be
anxious?
Just now you were making big plans, saying you’d find a boyfriend, come back here, get married, have kids, and let me help raise them. Who knows how long I’ll have to wait for that!”
Natasha was speechless.
She covered her face with her hands.
‘Help!’ Natasha thought, her face burning with embarrassment.
“This is so awkward!’
Jason smiled and said, “Mrs. Blair, I’m already married.”
“What?” Mrs. Blair was surprised. “You’re married at such a young age?”
She realized her words sounded a bit awkward and quickly corrected herself. “I mean, most young people these days wait much longer to get married and have kids. It’s pretty rare for someone your age to tie the knot already. Your parents must be thrilled.”
Jason looked down for a moment and said, “Honestly, I’m starting to regret waiting so long to get married. If I’d confessed to her as soon as I realized how I felt, maybe we’d already have kids running around everywhere.”
Thalia glanced at him, her clear eyes shimmering with complicated feelings.
Mrs. Blair said with genuine envy, “That’s wonderful.”
Then she turned to Natasha. “You should really learn from him. Just look at yourself. I honestly don’t even want to start with
you…”
Natasha was speechless.
Please, just spare me!’ Natasha thought, feeling utterly helpless.
She kept her head down, shoveling food into her mouth, hoping to escape the awkwardness.
The tension at the table melted away.
Mrs. Blair had readied three guest rooms. Dax and Jason were staying downstairs, while Thalia was upstairs.
Natasha said, “You might feel a bit off when you wake up tomorrow. If anything happens, just let me know right away, and I’ll figure out what’s going on.”
Thalia nodded, then typed on her phone. [Thanks.J
Natasha just laughed. “Come on, we’re allies now, which means we’re friends. No need to be so formal with me Just send the consultation fee to my account”
She laughed at her own joke.
Thalia smiled and nodded.

Chapter 668
Natasha looked at Thalia and sighed softly. “Honestly, you two look so much alike, but he always comes off so nasty and unpleasant, while you’re just so pretty.”
Thalia blinked, a bit surprised that Natasha suddenly brought this up.
Natasha pressed, “You’re really not related to him?”
Thalia looked down and typed, [Maybe. I really don’t know.]
Natasha snapped her fingers. “I get it! Were you switched at birth or something? Like one of those real vs. fake heiress stories? You’re the real heiress, and that Vera is the fake one, so she’s trying to kill you?”
Thalia looked a bit lost, then slowly nodded. ‘Maybe,’ she thought.
“That totally explains it!” Natasha felt like a genius. “Those people are absolutely vile. They’ve done everything from murder to arson. Folks like them should go straight to hell!”
Thalia nodded, totally on board with her.
Natasha let out a big yawn and said, “Alright, time to hit the hay. We’ve got an early morning ahead.”
“Mm-hmm,” Thalia murmured.
Thalia murmured in response and pushed open the door to the guest room.
Once inside, she picked up her change of clothes and headed to the bathroom for a hot shower, letting the hot water melt away her fatigue. Afterwards, she lay down on the bed, her mind drifting over everything that had happened today.
Then she grabbed her phone and filled Darion in on everything that went down today.
Even though he wasn’t around, he should be kept in the loop. Maybe he’d see things from a new angle.
After all, he was the one who’d been digging into the Holt family all along.
I wonder how his investigation is going, Thalia thought.
