I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 698

Chapter 698 Another Baby

“Why?” Helen asked, a puzzled look appearing on her face.

Darion’s tone was calm as he leaned back against the headboard, his expression

unchanged. “I’m used to living at Rosewood Manor.”

Helen frowned at him, then let out a helpless sigh. “Alright, we won’t go back. I’ll move

to Rosewood Manor too. Darion, I can’t relax unless I’m watching over you.”

“Okay,” Darion replied.

He didn’t refuse.

He turned toward the doorway and asked, “Where’s Thalia?”

Helen’s voice took on a chill. “I don’t know. I haven’t seen her.”

Natasha glanced at Helen, a flicker of confusion crossing her mind.

Does Helen not really like Thalia?

‘Why is that?’ she thought.

She fiddled with the silver needles and said, “Alright, from today on, we’ll do this twice a day. Once to detox, and once to help your body recover.”

Darion nodded.

Helen glanced at Natasha with genuine admiration and smiled. “Natasha, you’re really getting good at this.”

Natasha gave a shy smile. “My parents taught me everything I know. I just don’t want to disappoint them.”

Helen sighed, her tone full of emotion. “Sometimes, I really envy your parents for having such a caring and devoted daughter like you.”

Darion said casually, “Mom, you’re still young. If you and Dad put in a little more effort, maybe you two could have another kid.”

Helen’s face darkened. “Darion, what nonsense are you talking about?”

But Darion just shrugged. “Dr. Riley’s right here. If you’re not feeling well, she can help you recover.”

Helen decided to keep quiet.

‘This kid just loves to get on my nerves,’ she thought.

Natasha tried to fade into the background. Even if she wasn’t the most observant

person, she could still feel the tension betweentation and Helen.

‘Man, the way this family interacts is just bizarre, she thought.

Chapter 698 Another Baby

Thalia was texting Diana.

In the hospital’s backyard, a cool breeze drifted by, carrying a hint of chill. Thalia stood there with her eyes downcast, looking a little dazed and lost in thought.

She was about to return to Oakwood.

How am I supposed to tell Diana that I can’t talk anymore?’ Thalia wondered.

Once she knew about this, there’d be no way to keep anything else hidden.

Diana’s getting up there in years. Should I really let her worry about me at her age?’ Thalia thought.

She really couldn’t bear the thought.

She let out a sigh and looked up at the sky, which was slowly growing darker.

After a while, she heard soft footsteps coming closer.

She turned her head and saw Helen walking over, her eyes cold and distant.

Thalia tightened her grip on her phone and stood up.

‘Have a seat,” Helen said.

Helen sat down next to Thalia, speaking in a distant tone. “I know you got hurt as well. How’s your recovery going?”

Thalia typed on her phone, and a chilly, mechanical female voice came out: “I’m doing

okay.”

Helen was thrown off by the sound, shooting Thalia a frown. “So what are you thinking now? You stirred up so much trouble before. Are you really not going to divorce Darion after all?”

Thalia nodded.

Helen’s frown grew even deeper. “Honestly, I think you two should just get divorced. Honestly, I’d rather you both stay far, far away from each other.”

Thalia stayed silent, her eyes lowered, her face turning even paler.

“You’ve gotten my son into trouble way too many times. He’s nearly died because of you,” Helen said, not holding back as she stared right at Thalia. “You don’t love him, but you keep dragging him into your mess. I really can’t figure out what you’re thinking.”
