I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 706

Chapter 706 My Poor Kid

There was no breeze in the hospital room, but Thalia’s eyes stung with unshed tears. The turmoil in her heart almost overlapped with the ache in her chest, making her feel suffocated and miserable.

She kept her lips pressed together, her gaze fixed on the floor, refusing to look at him.

Only after he had taken off his clothes did she finally start helping him get dressed.

She was so focused, and every now and then, her breath brushed against him. Her unique scent lingered at his nose, like a feather teasing his heart, making it flutter uncontrollably.

It left Darion feeling restless all over.

His sharp Adam’s apple moved as he swallowed, and the shirt was quickly on.

When it came to the pants, Darion said in a low, rough voice, “Let me handle this myself.”

But Thalia just reached over, slipped off his hospital pants, and helped him into a pair of regular trousers.

Darion was speechless.

He couldn’t shake the feeling that Thalia was treating him like some paralyzed patient.

As she stood up with the pants, when she reached for the zipper at his waist, she saw something had definitely changed down there.

Her hands froze for a second.

Darion said in a resigned tone, “You know I never could resist you.”

Thalia was at a loss for words.

She pulled the zipper up a little too hard, then fastened his belt for him.

Then she turned and walked out of the room with no hesitation, leaving him behind.

“Thalia?” Darion called out.

But all he got in response was the cold sound of the door closing behind her.

Darion’s lips curled into a faint smile as he straightened his cuffs, a low chuckle escaping him.

The plane landed in Oakwood, and the air was already chilly. You’d need a coat just to keep from freezing.

With Christmas just around the corner, the streets were decked out in festive decorations.

Natasha sat in the car, her eyes darting around in excitement. “Wow, so this is

Oakwood? It’s way colder than South City, but the scenery’s pretty nice. Any good food or fun stuff to do here?”

Jason replied, “There’s a ton. You can look up some guides and take your time exploring.”

Natasha nodded. “Sounds good. I’ll check out what the local bloggers recommend first.”

The car pulled up at Rosewood Manor, and Natasha’s excitement bubbled over. “This place is gorgeous!”

Jason grinned. “Of course it is. This is Darion and Thalia’s wedding house. They designed and decorated it together, put their hearts into every detail. No wonder it’s so beautiful.”

Natasha clicked her tongue, shaking her head. “Yeah, but so what? In the end, they’ll just end up splitting up anyway.”

Jason’s eye twitched. “Dr. Riley, if you can’t say anything nice, just zip it!”

Natasha snorted. “I’m just telling it like it is!”

The servants had received word ahead of time and made sure the entire manor, inside and out, was spotless. Now they stood at the entrance, ready to welcome the guests.

“Darion, Thalia, lunch is ready. Mrs. Diana has already left Oakwood,” Jadiel Pratt

announced at the door.

“Alright.”

Darion nodded, with Thalia supporting him. He told her, “Don’t worry, Diana won’t find
