Chapter 717 Everyone’s Fighting Him For Her
Thalia thought, not saying a word.
Did something evil latch onto him or what?’ Thalia thought.
Otherwise, how else would he be acting like this?’ she wondered.
Thalia took a deep breath, then typed on her phone. The cold electronic voice rang out, ‘I’m just saying, if you want something done, just ask for help. If you try to handle it yourself and mess it up, what if you end up getting hurt again?”
Darion stepped closer. “You’re worried I’ll get hurt?”
Thalia thought he was totally missing the point.
She tried to keep typing, but he reached out and grabbed her hand, making it mpossible for her to type.
He leaned in even closer. “So, I’m still in your heart, huh?”
Thalia thought, not saying a word.
He’s really hopeless,’ Thalia thought.
Darion ran his fingers over her hand, her breath just inches away, and he swallowed
hard.
They were in the master bedroom they’d shared for four years, every corner filled with memories and the lingering scent of their love.
Darion’s breath grew heavier.
Knock, knock!
Just as the tension in the room was building, a sudden knock at the door shattered
the moment.
‘Who is it?” Darion asked, his voice already low.
He turned his head slightly, his voice deepening.
Natasha’s cheerful voice rang out from the hallway. “It’s me! It’s me! Time for your acupuncture session. Are you two available right now?”
Thalia could hear the gloating in Natasha’s tone. She was clearly enjoying the
interruption and had picked this exact moment on purpose.
Darion felt a vein pulsing in his forehead. He could tell Natasha really couldn’t stand him.
If it weren’t for Thalia, Natasha wouldn’t have agreed to treat him at all.
Without warning, Darion bent down and pressed a fierce kiss to Thalia’s lips.

‘Mmph!’ Thalia made a muffled sound, startled.
The kiss caught Thalia completely off guard, forcing her to stumble back two steps.
He was so used to this. Despite not being able to see, he found her lips with uncanny precision, like it was pure muscle memory.
He bit her lip just enough to make her feel it, his voice low and rough. “Thalia, why is it that so many people are into you?”
Men, women, the elderly, kids…
Everyone likes you, and everyone wants to fight me for you.
Thalia’s lips were still tingling as she shoved him away, her bright eyes now tinged with irritation as she stared him down.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t see her expression at that moment.
She went ahead and punched him, then swung the door open.
“Thalia!” Natasha called out.
Natasha saw her and gave Thalia a huge grin, but when she noticed Thalia’s lips looking a bit red and puffy, she immediately gave a little snort.
“Ugh, toad,” Natasha muttered.
Thalia felt a little embarrassed, but she tried to play it cool and let Natasha in.
Natasha took a look around and said, “Whoa, this room is huge! Wait, wasn’t there a photo hanging here before?”
She pointed at the headboard, where the bare spot now looked kind of awkward without the picture.
When Thalia first agreed to stay here, she laid down one rule: no wedding photos on the wall.
Darion’s expression turned cold, and he just ignored her.
Natasha moved closer to him on purpose and teased, “Let me guess, was it a wedding photo up there? So why’d you take it down. Don’t like it anymore?”
Darion’s voice grew cold and sharp. “You never shut up.”
“Oh, did I hit a nerve? Hah, now I finally get why you two ended up divorced. Darion, honestly, I never thought you’d fall for your brother’s wife, what a mess.”
Natasha shot him a frosty glare. “If it weren’t for Thalia, I wouldn’t waste a single minute treating you!”
