I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 739

Chapter 739 Capturing Her Every Move

Sebastian gave a gentle smile and nodded. “Of course.”

Ryan just turned and walked away without another word.

Sebastian turned back to gaze at the brightly lit villa, his smile growing a bit wider.

‘Wasn’t the happiness I could give her enough?’ he thought to himself.

Thalia rushed straight to the bedroom. When she pushed open the door, she saw Darion lying on the bed, clutching his temples in pain.

She hurried over and gently patted him on the shoulder.

“Thalia,” Darion murmured, his voice rough and hoarse.

He turned over and immediately pulled her into his arms.

Thalia paused, her gaze dropping to him.

He looked completely dependent on her, holding onto her as if she was his lifeline, arms wrapped around her waist, his face pressed against her stomach, his breath gently brushing against her shirt.

She hadn’t even changed out of her clothes yet, but he was already clinging to her, not caring at all.

Thalia typed on her phone, “Is your eye hurting again? Did you ask Natasha to take a look at it?”

Darion replied in a hoarse voice, “Natasha said it’s just nerve pain. Nothing we can do right now. Just gotta wait it out.”

Thalia’s brows knitted slightly, her lips pressed together. She typed again, “Did you take any painkillers?”

“Yeah,” he replied. “Remember? I took some at the hospital, but they were useless.”

“What should we do then?” Thalia typed.

Even the cold, robotic voice carried a hint of doubt. Once the words were spoken, the bedroom fell silent.

After a moment, Darion slowly released her and said, “Am I keeping you from something? Go ahead and do your thing. I’ll be okay. I’ll just ride it out.”

Then he took a couple of ragged breaths, as if the pain was almost too much for him to bear.

Thalia’s clear eyes shimmered with complicated feelings as she typed, “I’m going to change my clothes.”

Without another word, she turned and left.

Darion focused intently on every little sound she made, trying to figure out what she

was up to.

The walk-in closet was right there in the room, so he could hear her moving around, the soft rustle of her clothes, the closet door sliding open.

Her footsteps approached, then faded away, and soon he heard the bathroom faucet

turn on.

Ever since he lost his sight, his hearing had gotten sharper, especially when it came to Thalia. He could pick up on every little sound she made, and tell exactly what she was

up to.

Soon, she came closer. Even with her steps muffled by the thick carpet, Darion could

still make out her movements.

She sat at the edge of the bed and started typing on her phone. Her phone’s cold, robotic voice sounded again: “Is there anything I can do to help take your mind off the

pain?”

Darion asked in a hoarse voice, “Am I holding you up?”
