I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 751

Chapter 751 Raising The Bid

Darion stood there with his head slightly lowered, looking just like a kid getting

scolded. He didn’t dare say a word.

Natasha couldn’t help but laugh. “That’s what you get for showing off.”

Thalia glanced at the servants and texted, “Next time something like this happens, don’

t let him out. If he catches a cold, your pay’s getting docked.”

The servants was left speechless.

Honestly, they were pretty innocent in all this.

They were both the bosses, so who were the servants supposed to listen to?

“Sorry, that’s on me,” Darion said, quick and sincere. “Thalia, please don’t be mad.”

He really meant it, not making any excuses.

Seeing how honest he was, Thalia didn’t make a fuss. She pulled him over to the couch, then typed on her phone, “I’m going to change clothes.”

“Okay,” Darion replied.

He listened as Thalia’s footsteps faded away, and only when he heard the door upstairs close did he relax.

Darion turned to Natasha and said, “Let’s make a deal.”

Natasha’s tone was icy. “What do you want?”

Darion said, “I’ll throw in three million if you talk me up in front of her.”

Natasha’s eyes went wide in disbelief. “Are you out of your mind?”

Darion said, “And if she doesn’t end up divorcing me, I’ll throw in another three million.”

Natasha sucked in a sharp breath.

This guy is seriously loaded,’ she thought.

She bit her finger, totally torn.

What should I do?

Man, this is such a hard choice.

‘That’s so much money!’ she thought, almost drooling.

Darion kept his cool. “Take your time, I’ve got all the time in the world.”

Natasha struggled for a bit, then said, “Just so we’re clear, even if I take your money, I’ m not gonna do anything that would hurt Thalia. And I won’t just sing your praises for

no reason.”

Darion nodded. “Alright.”

Chapter 751 Raising The Bid

Natasha hesitated again, then said, “Let me think it over.”

Just say a few harmless things and pocket a few million dollars.

This deal was just too good to pass up.

‘Oh man… It’s so hard to decide,’ Natasha thought.

Thalia changed her clothes and then went to Diana’s room.

Diana sat in her chair, staring out at the gray sky. Her hair seemed to have turned even whiter, and the lines around her eyes and brows looked deeper than ever.

When she turned to Thalia, the sadness in her eyes softened a bit. “When did you get back?” she asked.

Thalia sat down next to her and typed on her phone, “Just got back. How long have you been sitting here?”

Diana paused for a few seconds before replying, “Not long. Couldn’t sleep, so I was just watching the snow fall, but it’s barely falling.”

Thalia could hear the sadness in Diana’s voice. She wasn’t really watching the snow. She was probably thinking about Shyla.

Thalia lowered her gaze, her long lashes quivering. She hesitated, then tapped out a message on her phone. The cold, robotic voice filled the room: “Diana, did you ever blame her?”

When Diana found out her own daughter had poisoned her, not even a little bit of resentment?’ Thalia wondered.

‘How could I not?” Diana replied, her voice weary and slow. “But what could I do? All I could do was try not to think about it, not to look at her.

‘But I don’t hate her. I just hope that in the next life, we won’t be mother and daughter again. I wouldn’t be a mother, and she wasn’t much of a daughter either.”

Thalia felt a deep pang of sympathy for Diana.

When Diana was young, her husband betrayed her, and her daughter let her down. Now that she was old, she didn’t even have the energy left to resent anyone. Her life had been nothing but hardship.

Thalia didn’t type anything else. She just sat there with Diana, watching the gray sky outside, letting her mind go blank, just sitting in silence.
