I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 773

Chapter 773 Impatience

In the dimly lit basement room, Jason’s hands trembled as he went through each email one by one.

He gritted his teeth, refusing to accept that Darion, the one he had always trusted, had betrayed him.

But the evidence was right there, slapping him in the face.

He closed his eyes in agony, thinking about Wendy being locked up by that scumbag, and Darion had known all along. ‘Wasn’t he worried Thalia would discover the truth?

‘Or was he absolutely certain his alliance with Quinn would never fall apart?

‘Man, you really can’t tell what’s in people’s hearts, Jason thought.

Quinn took another shower, changed into fresh clothes, and made sure every trace of the scent of blood was washed away before heading to the bedroom.

Wendy was sound asleep, lying on her side with the blanket tucked between her legs, her smooth back exposed.

Quinn leaned in and gently kissed her shoulder, his blue eyes filled with unmistakable obsession and love.

He held her close, almost greedily breathing in her scent, and whispered, “Baby, I love you.”

When Wendy woke up again, she found herself in Quinn’s arms. His tall frame completely enveloped her. She’d basically become his pillow.

She immediately frowned, then rolled over and slipped free from his embrace.

But before she could get out of bed, Quinn pressed up against her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder and slipping his arm around her waist.

“Baby, why didn’t you sleep a little longer?”

He was still groggy, his voice extra clingy as he spoke.

Wendy pried his fingers off, her voice cold. “I’m not tired anymore.”

But Quinn pulled her back into his arms again, kissing her neck. “Just nap with me a bit longer. We’ll check out the presents later.”

Impatience flashed across Wendy’s face. She sprang up and shoved him away. “I said I’ m not tired. Don’t you understand? Why do you always have to push me?”

Quinn knelt on the bed, eyes wide and a bit dazed as he looked at her. Then he

scooted closer. “Sorry, baby. If you don’t want to sleep, then I won’t either.”

Chapter 3 Impatience

His dark circles were obvious. He rarely got a good night’s sleep, but now he insisted on getting up just to be with her.

Wendy stood at the edge of the bed, pulling away from his hand, her tone impatient. ” Just sleep, don’t worry about me. I want to be alone for a while.”

Then she went straight to the closet to change, planning to step outside for some air.

As soon as Quinn came back, he stuck to her like static cling, smothering her with his

attention.

Quinn watched her turn away, impatience radiating from her, and gave a crooked smile. “Baby, you’re worried about me, aren’t you? You want me to get some rest, right?”

Wendy’s brows furrowed. ‘This guy’s got to be nuts. I’m clearly fed up. Can’t he see that’ she thought.

She quickly changed her clothes and rushed out of the room, not even bothering to
