I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 790

Chapter 790 You Like Darion

Bonnie’s face was clouded with worry as she looked at Darion, her lips parted but her words stuck in her throat.

Sebastian gave her a couple of lingering glances before quickly averting his eyes.

Once the food was served, everyone dug in, and Darion and Sebastian kept quiet for the rest of the meal.

At least the meal went by quietly.

After the meal, Sebastian said, “Thalia, I’m heading out. Got a lot on my plate, but let’s catch up again when we have time.”

Thalia nodded. “Alright.”

Bonnie stood up as well. “Thalia, I’m heading out too.”

Thalia gave her a hug and typed on her phone, “Take care at work, and reach out if you need anything.”

Bonnie nodded and went downstairs.

Natasha looked at her. “Thalia, do you want to head home and get some rest? You don’ t look so well. Are you feeling worn out?”

“Yeah,” Thalia replied.

She nodded.

Darion stood up. “Let’s head back together.”

They all went downstairs, got in their cars, and drove off.

Bonnie was planning to take the subway home, but she hadn’t walked far when a car pulled up next to her. The window slid down, and Sebastian’s gentle, handsome face appeared.

“Hey Bonnie, get in. I’ll give you a lift,” Sebastian called out.

Bonnie waved her hand quickly. “Thanks, Sebastian, but it’s fine. The subway’s fast.” Sebastian grinned. “I just wanted to talk to you about something. Come on, hop in.” Bonnie felt inexplicably tense. Whenever she was around someone with authority, she’ d get nervous without even realizing it. Especially when Sebastian looked at her so seriously, she couldn’t help but wonder, ‘Did I mess something up?”

But she and Sebastian hadn’t interacted much. Most of their conversations were initiated by him, usually just to ask about Thalia’s situation. Other than that, there wasn’ t much between them.

Bonnie thought it over and realized there was nothing out of the ordinary, so she felt

relieved and thanked him. “Thanks, Sebastian,” she said.

She got in the car and sat in the back seat, feeling a bit stiff and reserved.

Sebastian sat down next to her, shot her a glance, and went straight to the point. “You like Darion, don’t you?”

Bonnie’s eyes flew open, her face drained of color as the fear of her secret being found out wrapped around her like a cold blanket.

‘He really saw through me!’ Bonnie thought, her heart racing.

The last time Diana caught on, Bonnie had been a bundle of nerves. She ended up quitting her job. She just didn’t want to mess up Thalia’s life or disappoint Diana, especially since Diana had always been so good to her.

But right now, Bonnie’s heart was pounding, anxiety and fear twisting inside her. She clutched her bag, her eyes flickering around in panic, and stammered, “I… I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Sebastian chuckled softly. “Hey, don’t be afraid. Liking someone isn’t something to be ashamed of. I get it, you’re worried about Thalia, so you keep it hidden.”
