I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 182

Sienna heard Mrs. Holloway asking Finn:

"Finn, you're in your thirties now. Are you planning to settle down and find a girlfriend anytime soon?"

Mrs. Holloway's voice carried the specific gossipy enthusiasm of an elderly woman playing matchmaker.

Finn paused.

"I've always had someone I love."

Sienna's hand stiffened as she reached for her food.

Mrs. Holloway perked up, leaning forward:

"Oh? Who is it?"

"The girlfriend I had back in college."

Finn's voice was very soft, carrying a hint of tentative caution.

"I was young, I was foolish, and I hurt her."

His gaze drifted to a moonlit spot in the courtyard.

"I'm doing everything I can to win her back now. I just hope I can earn her forgiveness."

Mrs. Holloway frowned, her tone shifting into something far more serious:

"Well, then I have to lecture you a bit. You clearly aren't showing enough sincerity."

Finn looked at her.

"As long as it wasn't an unforgivable betrayal, anything can be fixed. You just aren't showing enough sincerity."

Mrs. Holloway spoke with absolute certainty, sounding like a seasoned veteran passing down life advice.

Under the moonlight, Finn stayed silent for a few seconds.

Then he turned his head and looked right at Sienna:

"If there's any chance to win her back, I'm willing to do absolutely anything."

Mrs. Holloway followed his line of sight to Sienna, seemingly forgetting the sad topic from a moment ago in a flash.

She turned to Sienna:

"Sienna, you and Isaac really need to give it a shot. Finn and Isaac have known each other since they were kids. Isaac's character is flawless, and he's never even had a girlfriend before. He takes relationships very seriously."

She turned back to Finn. "Isn't that right, Finn?"

Finn didn't say a word, his expression incredibly complex.

He just kept looking at Sienna.

Sienna kept her head down, awkwardly staring at her own hands.
