I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 224

The elevator descended. When the doors slid open, Sienna came face to face with the one person she dreaded seeing the most.

Ford Fletcher.

Her heart lurched, and her fingers tightened in the pockets of her lab coat.

Ford saw her, too.

His face instantly darkened, the shadows in his eyes spreading like spilled ink.

"What are you doing here?"

Sienna didn't want to waste her breath. She tried to walk past him.

"Stop right there!" Ford blocked her path, his voice low but every word grinding out from between his teeth. "I told you never to show your face around me again."

He was consumed by hatred.

Because Sienna had exposed everything online, even though the public relations team had suppressed the scandal, too many people had already seen it.

People might not say it to his face, but he knew they were mocking him behind his back. Wherever he went, he felt like a walking punchline.

Worse still, because of the scandal, his father had completely cut off his mother. No matter how much Ford pleaded, the old man remained merciless.

And the architect of all his misery was Sienna.

"Sienna! You bitch!"

Ford abandoned all his refined manners, his eyes bloodshot as he raised a fist toward her.

Sienna didn't flinch.

She stood her ground, meeting his furious glare head-on.

"Go ahead and hit me. You can't kill me, but I promise I'll make you pay an agonizing price. I'd consider it a fair trade."

Ford trembled with rage, his fist hovering in the air, unable to strike.

"Ford, what are you doing?"

A woman's voice drifted from behind them.

Sienna looked past Ford and saw Felicia Fletcher.

She wore a cream-colored, knee-length dress under a light gray cardigan. Her hair was loosely pinned back, with soft strands framing her face.
