Karma Doesn’t Sleep The Revenge Queen Rises novel Chapter 734

This place wasn’t so much a secret room as it was a tiny library, crammed with shelves overflowing with books in every direction. There was a huge blackboard against one wall, the entire surface covered in equations—physics, chemistry, molecular biology. Some of it made Amelia’s head spin just trying to decipher it.

In the corner stood a battered old piano with a stack of worn sheet music on top. There was something familiar about it, but Amelia didn’t have time to figure it out. Right now, the infamous “weirdo” from Room One was stretched out on a wooden cot, breathing so faintly it was barely there.

Tatum strode toward her, brows knitted with worry. “Ms. Sadinton, do you actually know medicine?”

Amelia shot him a look. “If you trust me, then move.”

He was a little put out by her bluntness, but he didn’t dare argue. He stepped aside, giving her one last warning. “Ms. Sadinton, you’d better not pull any tricks with me again.”

She ignored him and headed straight for the man on the bed.

His hair was wild and unkempt, half covering a battered pair of glasses. A scruffy beard hid most of his face, making him look more like a wild animal than a person. Amelia couldn’t tell what he was supposed to look like underneath it all.

She took his pulse. Within seconds, she was certain—acute poisoning.

There was no way this place had the equipment for dialysis. After a moment’s hesitation, Amelia made a bold call.

“I’m going to use silver needles for bloodletting,” she said, turning to Tatum. “I can’t promise it’ll work, but it’s his only shot. If you want to save him, let me try. If not, then you’ll just have to watch him die.”

Tatum stood there, jaw clenched, thinking hard.

If this guy died on the island, Tatum would be in deep trouble. But if Amelia was the one to do it… well, at least the blame wouldn’t fall on him.

“Fine,” Tatum finally said. He waved at his men to bring whatever Amelia asked for.

Nobody here had ever seen anything like this before. As Amelia pushed the silver needles into the man’s skin and dark blood oozed out, more than a few jaws dropped in shock.

One of Tatum’s close guys leaned over and whispered, “Boss, is she for real? What if she kills him?”

Tatum’s eyes narrowed. “If he dies by her hand, at least it’s not on us.”

At that moment, another guy barreled inside, barely catching his breath. He leaned in and said something to Tatum.

Tatum’s expression changed instantly. “That bastard Felix! I’m going to kill him!”

Amelia couldn’t understand the language, but she caught Felix’s name and her eyes flickered. Still, her hands didn’t stop moving as she worked to draw out the poison.
