My Alpha Wants Two Lunas? I'M Done (Laila and Holt) novel Chapter 365

Chapter 365 Wings

Thirdperson POV:

Ignoring the brutal drain on his wolf spirit power, Samuel slashed through the enemy in front of him with one claw. Using the opening, he grabbed two people at once and vaulted over the wall with them.

Seeing that. Terrence gritted his teeth and tried to carry someone out as well. But he was already injured to begin with. Climbing over the wall alone had been difficult enough. Bringing another person made him far too slow. Enemy claws were already slashing toward his back.

A burst of agony exploded through him.

But instead of breaking him, the strike awakened the viciousness buried in his bones. Terrence let out a muffled grunt and forced himself forward, enduring the pain as he carried Matt out with him.

Only the last two men remained.

After dropping off the two men in his hands, Samuel looked back and saw that Greer was still holding the rear line, blocking the enemy completely on her own.

The moment she saw Samuel safely get everyone out, all lingering worries disappeared from her eyes. Her body shot upward like a wolf god soaring through the night sky, vanishing into the moonlight in an instant.

By the time Victor charged in on horseback, all he saw was blood everywhere.

His men were either dead or wounded.

Cottontail had been rescued.

And he hadn’t even caught a glimpse of Samuel.

Chase them!Victor roared furiously, his wolf eyes burning red. Go after them! Notify every stationed unitsearch the entire city! Don’t leave a single corner unchecked!

Under the cover of night, Samuel led the group into retreat.

Not long after they escaped, Terrence collapsed to the ground. The slash across his back had

been too severe.

Samuel immediately doubled back to help him up. He tore strips of cloth and tightly wrapped the wound to stop the bleeding. Then he hesitated for a moment.

Everyone around him was one of their own. No enemies had caught up yet.

But Victor had returned. The pursuit wouldn’t be slow. And the people here were injured or unconscious. None of them could move quickly anymore.

They were going to get caught.

Terrence realized it as well. Panting heavily, he immediately said, Leave me behindYou all go. I know the back routes. I’ll figure something out myself.”

I’ll do the same! I know this area well!

Me too! Prince Vance, just take Willy and leave!

Voices rose one after anotherlow, urgent, impossible to argue against.

Only Willy wasn’t here to hear it. He knew nothing.

When they rescued him, they had seen the wounds covering his body, his ruined knees, and his cracked lips.

They knew how much he had suffered.

They wanted Willy to survive.

Samuel looked at those dark, weathered faces illuminated beneath the moonlight.

They all wanted to live, but no one feared death.

His throat tightened as he drew in a deep breath.

If we leave, we leave together.

The moment the words fell, wolf spirit power erupted from his body like a burst dam breaking apart, like thunder that had been suppressed for far too long.

Greer suddenly seized his wrist, her knuckles turning white. You’re going to use that? No, you can’t! It’ll-

I’m sorry,” Samuel interrupted softly, even managing the faintest curve of a smile. There’s no time.

The next second, a gigantic deepblue wolf appeared before everyone.

He lowered his head slightly, gazing down at them. Moonlight spilled across his body. His fur looked like a flowing night itself, like the darkest waters hidden in the depths of the sea,

But the wolf spirit power kept rising.

His fur darkened further and further, as though it were swallowing every trace of moonlight and refining it into flesh and bone.

Then suddenly-

Whoosh!

A massive pair of wings burst open behind him.

Their span stretched wider than two grown men standing side by side. The feathers were the color of the night sky, only revealing a cold blue sheen where the moonlight struck them directly. Every beat of those wings stirred violent gusts of wind, whipping everyone’s clothes loudly in the dark.

Everyone froze.

They had heard the stories. Samuel was the Moon Goddess’s favored child, bearer of radiant fire wings. But no one had ever seen them. They had always believed it was merely a legend, a beautiful exaggeration invented by wandering bards.

Yet tonight, the legend stood right in front of them.

A wolf with wings.
