My Luna Became An Alpha After I Rejected Her novel Chapter 126

Chapter 126

Cassia’s fists clenched tight at her sides when she caught the smile tugging at Sofia’s lips.

She was supposed to be broken, crying, and begging for mercy because today was her last trial, the day her death would be sealed. Instead, she wore a smirk of victory, as though she knew something no one else did.

The Blood Watch continued binding her to the chair. Cassia’s ja tightened, her eyes narrowing in suspicion, but before she could dwell on it, a low growl cut through the air.

Her head snapped toward Aiden.

His eyes glowed a furious red, fangs bared, claws slipping free from his hands. The fury radiating off him was so strong Cassia felt it in her bones. In a blur of movement, he was across he room, faster than the eye could follow. His clawed hand clamped around Sofia’s throat, pinning her hard against the chair

Sofia gasped, fear flashing in her eyes as blood welled beneath his claws. The warmth Cassia often saw in Aiden’s gaze was gone. What remained was pure, unfiltered rage.

“You killed my daughter,” he snarled, voice guttural, vibrating with power. “You lied about Ethan being mine. How could you?”

His grip tightened, claws digging deeper, red rivulets running down her pale skin. Sofia’s eyes watered, her body straining for breath as her life began to slip.

The council members remained still, even the Blood Watchers. No one dared to interfere.

“Aiden!” James rushed forward, grabbing his arm and pulling him back.

“Let me kill her,” Aiden roared, fighting against him. “Let me finish this once and for all!”

“She’ll die,” James said firmly, voice steady but urgent. “But you must pass judgment the right way. Don’t let rage make you her equal.”

For a tense moment, Aiden’s claws twitched, his chest heaving. Finally, with a growl of frustration, he let James drag him back to his seat. Sofia collapsed against the chair, sucking in air, er throat slick with blood.

But she didn’t care about the wound. Cold shivers ran down her pine for another reason….Aiden knew. Somehow, he had learned Ethan’s true identity. The secret she had sworn would never come out. Her gaze slid to Amelia. She told him.

Sofia’s fists curled in silent fury.

The Blood Watch stepped forward again, finishing the restraints around her wrists. One of them faced the council, then turned to Aiden before addressing the room.

“Today judgment will be passed. You will confess your crimes, seek forgiveness, and the Alpha will decide your fate.”

Sofia’s lips curled bitterly. If she refused, they would pour wolfshone down her throat until she screamed. She had endured enough pain already. Her gaze flicked toward the empty chair at Aiden’s side….Alpha Alarie’s seat. Still vacant.

She exhaled sharply and turned her eyes to the door, praying Date would appear as promised. Her only chance at freedom. Her only hope.

Sofia’s lips twisted into something between shame and defiance,

“No. He didn’t.”

Cassia’s brows furrowed in confusion. “What do you mean?”

Sofia looked straight at Aiden.

“Aiden and I never once slept together. Every time I tried, he pushed me away. Even when I drugged him, he wouldn’t touch me. All he did… was whisper Amelia’s name. Over and over, even half-conscious, he wanted only her.”

The council chamber erupted with murmurs, disbelief and disgust rippling through them.

“The night I drugged him,” Sofia continued, voice trembling, “I stripped us both and lay naked beside him. When he woke. he believed something had happened. He thought he betrayed Amelia… but he didn’t. He never touched me. He never betrayed her. I forced it all. I manipulated him. Lied. Falsified evidence. I made him believe Amelia was the villain.”

Gasps and whispers tore through the chamber, eyes filled with disgust and judgment settling on Sofia.

Amelia’s chest tightened as she stared at her, stunned. Slowly, he gaze shifted to Aiden. Their eyes locked across the room, an unspoken storm swirling between them.

The truth was finally out.
