My Luna Became An Alpha After I Rejected Her novel Chapter 211

Aiden arrived home with Racheal, but the moment they walked through the door, he couldn’t breathe in the same space as her. He left her downstairs without a word and climbed the stairs slowly, exhaustion dragging at his limbs.

As he reached the hallway leading to his room, a sound stopped him.

A soft, broken whimper.

Aiden froze, brows drawing together. The sound came again…a muffled sob. His heartbeat stumbled. He followed the quiet cry down the hallway until he reached his mother’s door.

Luna Donna.

He stood there, hand hovering over the knob. His fingers brushed the cold metal, hesitating. A deep ache stirred in his chest. He wanted to open it. Wanted to ask her what was wrong. But something inside him…pain, guilt, exhaustion…made him pull his hand away.

He let out a long breath and turned back toward his room.

There were things he had to focus on. Ethan would be discharged tomorrow. He needed to make sure everything was ready before his son came home.

Inside his room, Aiden moved like a man running out of strength. He showered, the warm water doing nothing to ease the sharp pulse of pain in his injured arm. When he stood in front of the mirror afterward, he stared at the wound…blackish, swollen, spreading faster than it should.

He exhaled shakily.

He needed it checked. Soon.

But he felt too tired to care at that moment. He collapsed onto the bed with a soft grunt, lying on his side. Amelia’s face came to him immediately…her eyes, her voice, her scent…filling him with a mixture of longing and regret.

His eyes drifted shut.

Sleep swallowed him whole.

Meanwhile, James, who had left Amelia’s house with one mission, which was to find Tracy.

But when he arrived at her supposed apartment, the place was empty. Not just empty, untouched. Like she had never come back at all.

He questioned neighbors.

No one had seen her.

James felt a cold sting inside his chest. Something was wrong. Something was very wrong.

He pulled out his phone and dialed Tracy’s number. It rang once. Twice.

Then silence.

He tried again.

Switched off.

James clenched his jaw. He immediately dialed Dave…his investigator’s number. The man who had found Tracy the first time around. The call connected on the second ring.

“James,” Dave answered.

“Dave, I think Tracy’s missing,” James said immediately, pacing, his voice tight with worry. “Someone might have taken her.”

“I don’t think so,” Dave replied calmly.

James stopped walking. His brows knitted. “What do you mean?”

“I mean she left the Red Moon Pack,” Dave said. “She hasn’t been taken. She walked out.”

James blinked…once, twice while trying to understand what Dave was saying.

“What? How do you know that?” he asked, voice dropping.

“Alpha Aiden asked me to keep an eye on her. I’ve been watching her since she was found. She left the pack not long ago. She hasn’t settled in a new pack yet, but she will. I’ll update you when she does.”

James didn’t speak for a long moment. His breath came out shallow, then he abruptly ended the call.

Ethan was to be discharged today.

He forced himself out of bed, took a quick bath, dressed, and stepped into the hallway. As he walked past his father’s study, he noticed the door slightly ajar.

He was about to ignore it…but he caught sight of people inside.

Elders. Council members.

Aiden frowned and moved closer.

He pushed the door open and stepped inside.

His father sat at the head of the table. Seven elders faced him.

Alpha Alaric’s eyes widened for a split second…surprise flashing in them.

“Aiden,” he said, recovering quickly.

“What’s going on here?” Aiden asked, voice calm but edged with cold confusion. “Why wasn’t I informed of this meeting?”

An elder stood slightly. “Alpha Alaric called us here to discuss a very important issue concerning the pack.”

Aiden’s gaze swept across their faces, then returned to his father.

“What issue?” he asked.

The elder inhaled slowly.

“The true Alpha… she’s back. We believe she’s alive.”
