My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart (Oriana) novel Chapter 141

**Chapter 141: Dinner Gathering**

“Please, don’t worry about it. I’m just letting off some steam. There’s no need to blow this out of proportion,” Oriana declared, her voice steady and firm, as she attempted to diffuse the situation.

“Mr. Caldwell,” she continued, “we’re merely indulging in some light-hearted gossip—sharing tales from our lives while you and I have been apart. As for anyone else’s affairs, frankly, they are of no concern to us.”

Oriana felt a flicker of indifference towards Luna’s condition, whether she was unwell or not.

If Luna truly was suffering, Oriana would certainly feel a twinge of sympathy in her heart.

But if Luna was simply wallowing in her misfortune, reveling in her own miseries, that was a path Oriana had no right to tread upon.

As long as Luna and her crowd stayed away from stirring up chaos, Oriana was more than content to enjoy her peaceful little existence.

“Understood. So, this is simply a matter of sharing,” Micah responded earnestly, scribbling notes as if he were documenting a profound revelation.

The seriousness etched on his face made Oriana chuckle softly, a warm lightness filling the air around them.

It was a life filled with warmth, and she felt that it was genuinely delightful.

“Micah,” she said, a hint of excitement creeping into her tone, “I have a day off this Sunday. How about I accompany you home then?”

A flicker of guilt crossed her mind. “He went out of his way to see you; he must have missed you terribly. I really should have considered this more carefully. Mr. Caldwell sent so many thoughtful gifts—I should have expressed my gratitude in person.”

Micah’s expression softened, his eyes reflecting understanding. “He wouldn’t hold it against you. He knows you’re going, and he’ll be thrilled about it.”

“For my first visit, let’s choose some gifts together beforehand. I could really use your help in picking them out.”

“Absolutely, whatever you need,” Micah replied, eager to assist.

At the Refe House, Ethan had mysteriously promised Luna a surprise, and they had settled on dining at the Arthur House.

After they left the hospital, Luna and Leo made their way to the restaurant, anticipation buzzing in the air. Upon their arrival, Arthur emerged from the kitchen, a welcoming smile on his face, before retreating back to his culinary duties.

Oscar was already waiting for them in the private dining room.

“You made it,” Oscar greeted them warmly, standing to embrace them. Luna’s face lit up with a smile. “Do you have any clue about the surprise Ethan has planned, Oscar?”

Oscar shook his head, his brows furrowing in confusion. “Not a clue. Ethan kept it all under wraps. I just spoke with him—he’s on his way and should be here in about ten minutes.”

Suddenly, a thought struck Luna. “Leo, could you do me a favor and grab some allergy medicine? I saw seafood on the menu, and I want to be prepared just in case.”

A fleeting thought crossed Luna’s mind—Grant had rushed off to find Oriana immediately after leaving the research center. Could it be that the enigmatic Mr. Caldwell had some connection to Oriana?

She quickly dismissed the notion, chuckling to herself. No way. Even if Oriana were fortunate enough to come from a prosperous family, there was no chance she could be linked to Mr. Caldwell. He was a legend in the Al world; Oriana held no standing in comparison.

Luna’s curiosity reignited. “What does this Mr. Caldwell look like? He’s so elusive and rarely makes public appearances.”

Arthur instinctively praised him. “He’s incredibly handsome, and there’s something extraordinary about his presence. Truly a rare talent among men.”

Luna stifled a laugh, covering her mouth. “Arthur, you’re laying it on thick. You’ve got a bit of an idol filter going on.”

Arthur chuckled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. “Yeah, I used to admire him quite a bit, but after today, it seems we might find ourselves on opposite sides.”

Just as Luna was about to respond, Leo returned with the medicine in hand, and shortly after, Ethan appeared, standing with his hands clasped behind his back.

“Hey, Leo, Ethan,” Luna greeted them, her excitement palpable.

Ethan, with a playful glint in his eyes, announced, “Luna, guess who has arrived!”

Luna could hardly contain her anticipation. She sprang to her feet and peered curiously behind Ethan. “What’s the surprise? Why keep it hidden all day?”
