My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart (Oriana) novel Chapter 213

**Chapter 213: The Reunion That Never Ends**

Micah leaned against the wall, a playful smirk dancing on his lips as he casually remarked, “You know, Oriana, most of the TikToks you’ve liked—the ones with those strong beats—feature shirtless muscle guys.”

Oriana’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Wait, how do you even know that?” she stammered, the color draining from her face.

With a nonchalant shrug, he replied, “Chubby told me.”

His expression was utterly serious, devoid of any shame as he threw their mutual friend under the bus.

Oriana was left momentarily speechless, grappling with the absurdity of the situation.

Technology, she thought, was truly going to be the end of her sanity.

Caught completely off guard, Oriana felt her cheeks heat up, a deep crimson shade spreading across her face. She was at a loss for words, utterly unprepared to defend herself or to retort in any way.

Finally, in a desperate attempt to regain some composure, she blurted out a rather feeble excuse. “Just… put your shirt on. What if a nurse walks in?”

“Fair point,” Micah conceded, his tone thoughtful. He began to button his shirt, moving slowly, deliberately, as if savoring the moment.

His voice dropped to a teasing whisper, “Then I’ll just have to show you again when you come back.”

Oriana felt as if she had been struck dumb, choking on the air around her. She hastily fanned her flushed face, trying to cool down the heat that had spread through her.

“Oriana, come on! How could you keep such a great husband hidden like that? You should’ve brought him over to show him off!”

A familiar voice sliced through the air, dripping with mockery. Oriana furrowed her brows, turning around slowly, her expression a mask of indifference, her phone still clutched tightly in her hand.

It was Luna, of course, who had trailed her outside, clearly eager to stir the pot, her eyes gleaming with mischief as she glanced at Oriana’s phone.

“That guy on the screen—he’s your husband, right? What a shame he didn’t come to the reunion. We were all so curious to see what kind of man made Oriana rush into marriage the second she got to Jindiwood. He must be something special.”

Luna’s words dripped with feigned sympathy, but her eyes sparkled with a challenge, a clear indication of her intent to provoke.

That little “something special” was laced with sarcasm, and her smirk suggested she believed Oriana had settled for some old, wealthy, unattractive man.

“Luna, my conversation with my husband didn’t involve you,” Oriana replied flatly, her voice steady despite the tumult of emotions swirling within her.

“Don’t be like that, Oriana. I understand—watching me live the life you once had must be tough. I was merely trying to be friendly. We’re all curious about your life now, especially since you’re the first in our class to tie the knot…”

With a smug laugh, Luna chimed in, “What a coincidence! My boyfriend’s team also prepared a graduation gift. Looks like we’ll be celebrating together, Oriana—”

Oriana dismissed her words, ending the call with Micah and walking past Luna, determination in her stride as she headed back toward the lawn.

“Oriana, the spot next to Grant belongs to me. Don’t think for a second you can play a few tricks and win him back. He knows what he wants now. He’d never go for someone as useless and pathetic as you!” Luna’s voice was sharp, filled with venom.

“Luna, I was the one who didn’t want him first,” Oriana said, stopping in her tracks. She turned slowly to face Luna, a cold, mocking smile curling her lips.

“Instead of marking your territory like a dog in front of me, why not spend that time keeping your own man in check? Tell him to stop bothering me.”

Luna hadn’t anticipated Oriana’s fierce comeback. Her eyes narrowed, and without missing a beat, she shot back, “You wish! Grant is busy every day. He doesn’t have time for that.”

Yet, the tension in her clenched fists betrayed her unease.

The only reason she had followed Oriana was the fear that Grant would try to reach out to her.

“Is that so?” Oriana replied, lowering her lashes slightly, her voice laced with casual indifference. “When you get back to Jindiwood, maybe you should check the surveillance footage from the last dinner at Refe House. You might want to see what happened after everyone left.”

Luna’s pupils dilated in surprise. “What are you talking about?”
