Chapter 325 The Group Intervention
But this promising talent had almost become his disciple.
Now, that old fool William got to reap all the benefits!
Cormac was furious, angry at himself for choosing a useless waste like Luna.
First and second in the same year–how could the gap be this huge!

But he also hated it, because this overly outstanding Oriana had caused him to lose all face today!
After a good while, seeing the thoroughly convinced crowd, Yael smiled and nodded. “So? Does anyone still have objections to the scores and rankings?”
The contestants who had initially felt somewhat satisfied silently chose to shake their heads. “No.”
With a gap this obvious, you’d have to be blind not to see it. They accepted their defeat wholeheartedly!
Yael then looked at Cormac. “And Mr. Flint? Still believe there was foul play?”
Cormac was choking on stifled anger.
“No.”
“Excellent!”
Yael slowly scanned the room. “If no one else has objections, the scores and results are finalized. Congratulations to Ms. Sterling and Mr. Ridge.”
“Hey, hey, hold on! Is that it?” William was not satisfied, his face pulled long. “What about those who were just shouting about foul play and ghostwriting? They can just slander people with their lies and not apologize?”
“What do you mean? You want me to apologize to Oriana?”
Bramwell was so angry he laughed, pointing at Oriana. “Why don’t you ask her if she’s worthy, if she dares to have me apologize?”
Just as Oriana opened her mouth to speak, William stepped in front of her. “Ask what? Huh? Who do you think you are, slandering someone and not apologizing? Anyone have to follow the rules!”
Before Bramwell could speak, William started up again, dripping with sarcasm. “Morals are declining these days! People don’t even treat their own face as face anymore! Boasting about winning a rank before the results are out, crying unfair after the results are published, and when they find out their daughter really can’t measure up anywhere, poof! They turn mute and try to slink away without a word!”
“Will you shut up?!”
Seeing Bramwell’s expression darken to the breaking point, Luna quickly spoke up, deploying her signature act of playing the victim.

“Mr. Harris, my family was just concerned about me and got carried away! I know you’re upset and want to stand up for Oriana, but please don’t take it out on them. If an apology is needed, I’ll apologize.”
In just a few words, tears were welling up. Even though they were the ones who had caused the unreasonable scene, now they looked as if they had suffered a great injustice, as if William was being unforgiving and bullying a mere intern.
Violet and the others chimed in to support her. “Yeah, it was all a misunderstanding. Why keep targeting Luna? Mr. Harris, aren’t you being a bit petty?”
“What the hell?!” William felt like he had phlegm stuck in his throat, so disgusted he cursed, momentarily at a loss for how to deal with this level of manipulative theatrics.
Oriana, however, placed a hand on William’s shoulder and spoke calmly but clearly, “You should apologize, but not for your parents‘ actions. For your own.”
Oriana stared straight at Luna, at her pitiful, delicate face, and stated coldly, word by word, “Luna Sterling. You plagiarized my initial draft. I demand you apologize and withdraw from the MDT.”
Luna’s smile froze. “Oriana, what are you talking about? There must be some misunderstanding.”
“Stop pretending, Luna. The article you submitted for the review is identical to my initial draft.”
This dropped like a bombshell.
The conference room instantly erupted. “What? Luna plagiarized Oriana?”
“No way? For this review? Their content was completely different, even if the direction was the same.”
“Pfft, Oriana, you’re not saying Luna copying some of your references is plagiarism, are you? It’s the same field; who uses what doesn’t mean copying! That’s more shameless than a plagiarism check!”
Willow, having watched the experts battle it out, finally joined the fray.
“Oriana, don’t be so domineering! Luna already lost to you, what more do you want!”
Bramwell protectively pulled Luna behind him like a mother hen, his eyes shooting flames, wishing he could burn Oriana to ashes!
“Can’t you stand seeing us treat Luna well? Are you deliberately targeting and framing her? You’re truly vicious! How does someone like you qualify to be a doctor, to save lives?
“Don’t think one sentence from you can smear my daughter’s reputation! Do you have evidence? Can you produce it?!
“Her article was personally guided and refined by Mr. Flint and Mr. Ridge! Are you saying they plagiarized
