Chapter 380 Shock
Oriana froze for a moment.
Sweet potato ice cream? What kind of bizarre combination is that?
When the door opened, Zara’s smile immediately dropped into a scowl. “Why is it you?”
Kenny was equally displeased. “What’s with the attitude? This is my room–I can’t come in?”

Peeking inside, Kenny’s jaw nearly hit the floor. His manly bedroom had been completely transformed into a princess wonderland–fluffy blankets, lace decorations everywhere. He felt like rolling his eyes out of his head.
Yesterday, when he learned Zara was going to move in, he had resisted. If she had to stay, it should have been in the guest room.
But his mother, with a glance that was hard to interpret, had said simply, “Though early pregnancy is not suitable for cohabitation, you- it’s fine. Just don’t sleep too soundly at night and take good care of them both.”
Kenny had nearly exploded.

Fine? How is that fine? I’m sick, but does that mean I’m not considered a man?
He thought, grinding his teeth in anger. “Don’t hog someone else’s wife–you better watch out for Micah!”
Zara blinked, then noticed a dark figure standing not far outside the hallway–Micah, silent and brooding.
A chill ran down Zara’s spine. She quickly grabbed Oriana from the rocking chair. “Return to the rightful owner! You two go play–I can take care of myself!”
She pushed Oriana out, then yanked Kenny into the room and slammed the door shut.
Oriana was left defenseless, her gaze falling on the man in the corner. She instinctively swallowed.
“Micah, how did you get up here?”
“Phone,” Micah said abruptly.
“Huh?”
Oriana checked her phone and realized Micah had been messaging her for over an hour–messages she had completely ignored.
Her scalp tingled.
Crap, I forgot the promise I made to him again.
Oriana forced a smile and reached for his hand.

Micah initially tried to pull away, but his warm palms met her cold fingers–chilled from the balcony- and instead of letting go, he pulled her firmly into his arms.
From her hair to her chin, Micah’s touch was cool, and a visible frown of irritation creased his handsome face.
“It was hot at dinner, that’s why I was on the balcony. I’m not cold,” Oriana explained quickly.
Micah smirked coldly. “You only care about Zara, ignoring everyone else.”
Guilt pricked Oriana. “Sorry! My phone was on silent, so I didn’t see your messages.”
Micah didn’t speak, just rubbed her hands gently, still angry but caring for her.
Oriana felt how aggrieved he must have been.
She wiggled onto tiptoe and puckered her lips, trying to kiss him.
This time, Micah was truly mad and calmly avoided her.
Oriana’s kiss met only air. She froze, then tried again, teasing him.
“Don’t be mad! I’ll take care of myself next time. I won’t forget you again, Micah. Kiss me, okay?”
She chased, he dodged.
Step by step, the tall man was pushed back.
Finally, trapped against the wall, Oriana’s eyes sparkled mischievously/She wrapped her arms around his neck and finally got her kiss.
“I kissed you, so you’re not mad anymore, right?”
Micah was amused by her rare cheekiness, holding her sexy waist in his hands. “Who taught you to be so tricky?”
“You. I just follow your lead,” she teased.
Micah leaned down, his nose brushing hers, and sighed helplessly. “You really leave me no choice.”
Oriana planted a kiss on the corner of his lips. “Like this? Still no choice?”
