Kai even laughed and said, “Not looking at the camera is actually better! My director is great at shooting profile shots. If you kept looking at the lens, it’d be harder to film.”

Oriana scratched her cheek. “Oh, really? Alright then.”

The director’s assistant handed her a shooting script. “Dr. Sterling, here’s the story outline and schedule. The timings are tentative and can be adjusted based on your availability.”

Oriana took it. “Alright, let me have a look.”

She skimmed through it quickly. At first glance, it didn’t seem too demanding. The real focus was Kai–he had the star power. Oriana was more like a supporting backdrop.

Oriana made a few adjustments to her own timings, reconfirmed with the director’s team, and both sides agreed. The filming schedule was set.

“Great! Thanks, Dr. Sterling. That’s all for today. We’ll set up the scene tonight. If everything’s ready, we’ll start shooting tomorrow.”

Oriana nodded. “I’ll come find you right after I finish work tomorrow.”

“Sounds good!”

Oriana nodded goodbye and was about to leave when Kai called out hesitantly, “Won’t you… stay for dinner?”

Seeing her turn to look at him, Kai got so nervous he nearly bit his tongue. “We’re having fondue. It’s more fun with more people. Besides, if you go back now, your colleagues have probably already eaten, right?”
