After reading out the last item, Oriana clasped her hands behind her back and peeked at him. “So? What do you think?”

“Right? I think so too!” Oriana said with a smile. “Just now, I even had Chubby look up some photos for me. The scenery over in Pyre City is so beautiful. Going there this season must be lovely.

“And the mushrooms! I’ve always wanted to go there to try wild mushrooms. Finally, I’ll get to taste them!”

Micah raised an eyebrow. “From what I know, mushroom season isn’t right now. Most would be cold–stored.”

Oriana didn’t mind. “Oh, let’s try them first. If even the frozen ones are mind–blowingly delicious, then we can go again during the actual mushroom season–it’ll be even better then!”

Micah chuckled indulgently, “Planning a second trip before the first one even happens?”

Oriana smiled sheepishly, reached out to hook her finger with his, and looked seriously at his expression. “If it’s fun, next time we’ll go just the two of us, I promise!”

As she spoke, she wiggled their linked fingers a couple of times, like a pinky promise.

Micah saw through it but didn’t say anything. “Let’s try m y soup first. It’s also very flavorful.”

After the recent cyberbullying incident subsided, Oriana returned to the hospital and gained a bit more attention–in a good way.

It was mostly thanks to Kai’s fans.

The case involving the radical fan had been sentenced. Kai didn’t deliberately suppress the news; instead, he contacted entertainment reporters to expose the incident himself, hoping to warn his fans to cherish themselves and not make irreversible mistakes in a moment of foolishness.

Because of this, many of Kai’s genuine fans spontaneously came to Oriana’s hospital to apologize, bring gifts, and some even wrote heartfelt letters to her.

Oriana declined the gifts one by one, but the letters were delivered through the mailroom, so she couldn’t refuse them and had to keep them.

During her spare time, she checked a couple. They were filled with the girls‘ sincere feelings for Kai, their gratitude for her father saving Kai’s life, and their apologies for the trouble caused by the radical fan.

Reading these genuine outpourings from the young fans, Oriana felt complex emotions. In the end, she packed everything up and asked Leo to pass it on to Kai.

Time was tight, and the tasks were pressing. She had already requested leave from William, but these next two days, she still had to wrap up the work at hand.

Nyla circled around again, accidentally glancing at Oriana’s screen. Recognizing she was writing a journal paper, Nyla consciously averted her gaze.

“Oh, right, this is from my parents–for you.”

Since this was Zara’s first trip after marrying into the Caldwell family, Niamh took it very seriously. After learning their itinerary was set, she booked a private jet in advance and even arranged for two flight attendants with basic medical qualifications to accompany them, just in case.

She turned and sat down next to Micah, leaning over to fasten his seatbelt for him.
