Oriana nearly choked, her gaze shifting between the two of them with a mix of surprise and teasing. “You two…”
Zara showed no trace of shyness. She plopped down at the dining table and started gulping milk. After a few big swallows, she announced clearly and crisply, “It’s all because of this guy. I was sleeping soundly, and suddenly, without any warning, he kissed me awake!”
Kenny’s entire face rapidly flushed a deep red, visible to the naked eye. “You…”
“What? I’m just telling the truth. Is that not allowed?”
Seeing him blush so intensely, Zara couldn’t help but laugh, “What? You dare to kiss but can’t take hearing about it? You’re such a delicate flower.”
Kenny seethed inwardly.
Delicate, my foot.
Oriana hadn’t expected to hear such fresh, spicy gossip first thing in the morning. Flustered, she averted her eyes and pulled Micah toward breakfast.
Unexpectedly, Micah held her hand in return and spoke softly near her ear, “Seems the room’s soundproofing is quite good.”
His breath tickled her ear, and Oriana’s face instantly flushed a deep pink.
Last night, both had been tired and had gone to bed early.
When she woke up, Micah had been holding her hand, instinctively pulling her closer.
As soon as he made that move, Oriana immediately knew what was coming next and hurriedly nipped his wicked intentions in the bud.
“No. Not allowed.”
Micah looked aggrieved. “Why? They probably aren’t awake yet.”
Oriana pushed at him. “No way! The house is made of wood. What if the sound carries?”
“I’ll try to be gentle.”
Blushing fiercely, the woman insisted, “Micah!”
Seeing her genuine embarrassment, Micah reluctantly held back.

But who would have thought that while they restained themselves, the young couple upstairs had shown no such consideration.
Micah couldn’t help feeling a bit regretful.
Oriana gave his palm a discreet, exasperated pingh and whispered, “Stop that. Let’s just eat!”
The weather today was lovely–clear skies and bright sunshine. The four changed into comfortable, casual clothes and headed out.
The region was famous for its coffee. Zara had arranged for their first stop to be a coffee plantation near the homestay,
Here, they could experience the joy of picking coffee cherries.
Kenny had arranged the schedule in advance and booked the place privately, so the only guests at the plantation were the four of them. The owner was incredibly welcoming.
“You’ve come at the perfect time! It rained for several days straight before this–the fields would have been muddy and hard to walk in. But today, just as you arrived, the skies cleared!”
Hearing this, Zara was delighted. “That means today is perfect for coffee picking. Even the sun is welcoming us.”
The plantation had a skilled guide who taught them the process. The four put on sun- protective clothing, strapped on small woven baskets, and after learning the picking technique, headed into the coffee fields.
As far as the eye could see, rows of coffee shrubs stretched out, dotted with red and green cherries. The air carried the rich, earthy scent of coffee plants, which was instantly invigorating. Simply standing there and enjoying the view felt incredibly pleasant.
Zara was buzzing with excitement. “After we process our own beans, let’s go sit in that tasting room up there and try them.”
To enhance the guests‘ experience, the plantation had built a small pavilion overlooking the fields. The view from up there was bound to be delightful.
Oriana glanced in the direction Zara pointed and nodded in agreement. “Sure.”
“How about a little competition?” Zara suggested with a grin, “We’ll split into two teams. Time limit: half an hour. The team that picks the most ripe cherries, or the best quality, wins!”
Kenny groaned. “Hey, hey, aren’t you just taking advantage of Micah?”
