“I’m telling you this not to make you soften toward Micah or excuse his secrets. But please, give him one more chance–one chance for you to truly understand him.

“I’ve been honest with you. Micah will probably be mad at me, maybe even cut me off. But at this point, I

don’t care if he hates me to the core.

“Why don’t you come back to Caldwell Estate, go to Micah’s bedroom, and check out that little secret room? Then you can think carefully about how to face him.”
