Chapter 560 Zara’s Sweet Talk
Kenny nodded repeatedly. “Exactly.”
Noah stared at the perfectly coordinated Zara and Kenny. “You’re not lying to me, right?”
“Of course not. How could we ever lie to you?” Zara blinked her big eyes sincerely.
Noah paused, then looked at Albert. “Wasn’t it you who said Oriana came over looking unwell?”
Zara and Kenny exchanged knowing glances.
So it was Albert who tattled!

Zara nodded subtly, thinking to herself that although Albert was loyal, Oriana’s happiness was more important. She apologized inwardly.
Before Albert could speak, Zara jumped in. “Hey, Albert must have misunderstood. Oriana’s just been busy, and that’s why she looked bad. She just came from the hospital. After such a long break, no wonder she looks worn out.”
Zara glanced at Albert. “And because of that, Albert, you went straight to Noah to complain? That’s making a mountain out of a molehill. Noah, don’t get upset–you’ll just make Noah worry!”
Kenny saw that Zara was trying to shift the blame onto Albert, but he didn’t fall for it.
He chimed in, watching Albert grow uneasy and doubtful of himself. “Albert, that was your mistake. Micah and Oriana are really close. You’ve just caused Grandpa to worry and eyen lose his nap.”
Under their pointed scolding, Albert began doubting himself.
Could it be I overreacted?
Zara and Kenny looked so sincere that Albert was stuck and finally gave in.
He lowered his head and apologized to Noah. “Mr. Caldwell, I was overthinking it. Sorry to have worried you.”
Noah didn’t blame him for such a small thing and waved it off. “You meant well. Just be more careful next
time.”
“Yes, sir.”
“All right, since it’s nothing, Noah, you should get back to your nap. Once we finish here, we’ll call you. We’re going out to have some fun. Remember, you promised to catch lots of fish for your great- grandchild. I’ve already checked out some big fish tanks online. We’ll keep all the fish you catch, so the baby can watch them while eating.” Zara gently guided Noah toward his room.
Noah was so charmed by Zara’s sweet words that he was completely distracted and delighted. Thinking of catching fish for his great–grandchild, he forgot all suspicion.

“All right, I’ll get some rest now and try to catch a hundred fish for the baby!”
“Wow, Noah, you’re generous! A hundred fish? Are you setting up an aquarium for the baby?”

“An aquarium? Good idea! I’ll have Albert pick a site. The Caldwell Group hasn’t ventured into zoos or aquariums yet. Let’s get started right away. When the baby’s three or four, it’ll be ready to open!”
“Wow, Noah, you’re amazing!”
Kenny’s mouth twitched slightly. Noah had been a shrewd, commanding presence in business his whole life, yet he’d been totally fooled by Zara.
That was crazy.
Seems like different people require different approaches.
Zara had completely mastered Noah.
Oh, no–Zara basically had a handle on his parents, too.
Kenny thought it over carefully.
Looks like Zara could even get me wrapped around her finger, too.
“Hey, what are you standing there daydreaming about?”
Suddenly, a hand patted his shoulder. Kenny jolted back to reality and found Zara had already sent Noah back and returned.
Kenny smirked faintly and said, “You’re really good at fooling people!”
Zara rolled her eyes dramatically.
Kenny and Zara went back into the bedroom. Oriana still hadn’t come out–probably hadn’t heard the commotion outside.
Zara grew a little impatient, pacing the room in circles. “What’s inside? Oriana’s been in there forever.”
Kenny hadn’t gone in but had stolen a glance from a distance
Kenny muttered, “What’s the rush?”
Zara kept pacing out of boredom, then suddenly stopped and locked eyes with him.
Kenny felt awkward. “Why are you staring at me like that?”
