Micah had traveled back in time.

The idea was too wild, too unreal. It flashed through her mind and then vanished. Oriana even thought she must be crazy for entertaining such a notion.

But she couldn’t find any other explanation for everything in those records.

Her life’s trajectory truly reversed only because Micah appeared by her side.

If Oriana had just followed the usual path, if she hadn’t woken up to Grant’s betrayal, maybe she really would have burned herself out for Grant, living that dull, meaningless life.

But all this was just her speculation. She needed Micah to admit it himself.

“Zara, I’ve made up my mind.”

Oriana squeezed Zara’s hand tightly. “I’ll go to Director Smith alone. You don’t have to come.”

Zara worried. “But-”

“I’m just going to the hospital to ask some questions. I can handle it alone.” Oriana gave her a reassuring smile. “Trust me. I’ve been through something like this before. I know how to face it.”

When she heard Oriana speak so confidently, Zara’s eyes welled up with tears.

A sparkle appeared in Oriana’s eyes. She smiled softly and pinched Zara’s cheek, glad that Zara could be with her now. “Okay.”

Oriana left the Caldwell Estate and set off alone to find Nelson.

Meanwhile, guided by Luna, Bramwell brought Owen again to the building below Grant’s company.

Bramwell had come to cause trouble a few times before, and the front desk lady always got a headache seeing them. This time, when she saw Bramwell and Owen walk in, she instinctively picked up the phone to call security.
