Chapter 565 The Situation
With a puzzled look, Oriana pushed the door open and stepped inside.
The room was empty.

But on one side was a large one–way glass panel. When Oriana saw through the glass to the people inside, she instinctively froze in place.
On the other side of the glass, Micah lay on the hospital bed, eyes closed, hooked up to a tangle of monitors and IV lines.
It felt like invisible hands were squeezing Oriana’s chest, her body barely under her control as her feet moved toward the glass. Her eyes locked tightly on Micah’s pale, fragile face.
As she got closer, she noticed that even though Micah was unconscious, his eyes trembled with restless agitation beneath his eyelids.
Micah was struggling. He was fighting back.
Kieran’s expression was extremely grave.
Having stood by Micah’s side for years, this was the first time Kieran had seen Micah like this.
Micah anxiously glanced at Nelson, who had just entered the room. “Is Mr. Caldwell really not in any life- threatening danger? He suddenly had an emotional outburst just now. I’m worried-”
Nelson scoffed lazily. “Don’t say you’re worried. I’m scared too!
“I’ve been continuously administering sedatives into his body.”
Nelson glanced at the syringe and shook his head with a sigh. “But his body refuses to accept this state. He wants to wake up. If we keep suppressing him with drugs, it’ll likely cause more severe damage to his brain
nerves.”
Kieran’s face turned pale. “Then what should we do? I can’t decide this. Director Smith, we have to notify Noah and Oriana!”
Nelson shot him a sidelong glance. “Did you forget what Micah said just before he lost consciousness? He made it very clear he doesn’t want them to know.”
Kieran was desperate but helpless.
His
eyes
full of pain watching Micah torment himself, Kieran angrily turned his back and punched the
wall in frustration.
Nelson ignored Kieran and looked over at Oriana’s side of the glass.
Nelson took a syringe full of medication and approached the bed, speaking softly as if to himself. “Mr. Caldwell, I’m going to stop administering the sedative now. Once the infusion stops, you’ll be able to wake up as you wish.

Chapter 565 The Situation
“But if you continue to lose control like before–violent emotional outbursts, harming yourself–then the nerve damage will worsen, and even God won’t be able to save you.
“Did you hear me?”
Nelson repeated loudly.
Micah lay on the bed, naturally unable to respond.
Oriana watched through the double glass, her breath caught as she saw the medication enter the IV line and slowly flow into Micah’s body.
Three, two, one…
At the very moment the last drop of sedative emptied, Micah suddenly snapped his eyes open!
His vital signs stabilized. Kieran breathed a sigh of relief, then realized Oriana was inside the room. His eyes widened in shock.
“Mrs. Caldwell? How did you get here? Mr. Caldwell, please believe me–I did not notify Mrs. Caldwell without permission!”
The couple clung tightly to each other, completely ignoring Kieran’s panicked loyalty show.
Kieran was at a loss, unsure how to proceed.
“Kieran.”
Hearing his name, Kieran turned around dazedly.
Moments ago, Nelson had been tense, ready to call the emergency team. Now, he’d stepped back to the door, waving to Kieran.
Kieran was confused and approached him. “Director Smith, why are you out here? How is Mr. Caldwell?”
Nelson gave him a meaningful look, glanced at the couple hugging inside, and said nonchalantly, “Let them talk. That’s the best remedy Mr. Caldwell needs right now
